While visiting Durango we went to The Joint on our son's recommendation. We went mid morning, mid week, and were rather impressed with our breakfast. The cost was reasonable, for Durango, but the food was excellent. We will make a point of visiting again.

Recently moved back to Durango. I love breakfast. The Joint has an excellent breakfast! Try the loaded hash.
We were headed through Durango and stopped because of the other reviews. We were not disappointed! Portions were huge- we split and still had left overs for our dog. Really unique loaded hash- with carnitas. It was amazing!

Best breakfast I have ever had super cozy southern style atmosphere and customer service was very nice. Although none of that compares to how divine the food tasted, everything was so creative, they managed to take simple things like waffles and biscuits and gravy and add a bunch of creative stuff like chili, green chilis, cheese stuffed inside the waffles etc. but they did all this without making it too much 5 stars is an understatement. Please give this place the attention it deserves.

Great homemade biscuits and sausage gravy and green chili; also their Cuban sandwich...both terrific!! Best I've had in many many years!! 5 stars!!
This place is in my top three places to eat in Durango. The biscuits and gravy in the morning is my husband’s go-to. I love the brisket tacos for lunch. They’re good people and will continue to come back.

Flavors good. My husband had their vegan burger minus sauce and cheese. Large mouthful of goodness. The sweet potato fries were amazing! I had their tacos with the bean couscous. The vegan sauce that I had was a cherry cola sauce. Very refreshing. Was told that you can also get a couscous bowl. The chef is working on more items that are “health conscious“ for his menu.. Looking forward to seeing what he creates.
Delicious breakfast in a cool southwestern atmosphere. Friendly staff and great eating at an honest price.
