Had a company party here, was supposed to be an amazing BBQ menu for dinner with dessert and after some people got food there was no food left. So they went to Walmart and bought hotdogs and cake. Didn’t get to try any of the food. Totally disappointed.
Great service and atmosphere. Fav handout.

Jake and Ruby were awesome! Not only was the cider we got great, so was the conversation and recommendations from these two. My daughter and I were on a road trip and they suggested places in town but also places along the way. And did I mention the cider? You haven’t tasted hard cider like this before - unique, strong, and not too sweet. Will definitely come back the next time I’m in Durango!

EsoTerra Cider and Wines was a great gem that my dad and I found on our latest road trip. One night we walked in only to find out their hours had switched only a few days prior. Instead of being open for another hour, they were now closing.
Instead of pushing us out, the bartender, Jake, chatted with us about the different ciders they had, and even directed us to another great local spot for dinner the next day.
Needless to say, we went back the next day while they were open to try the ciders. Not just because we wanted to try the drinks, but also because Jake had been so genuine that we wanted to give them our business. We ran into him again the next day, as well as another bartender, Ruby. Again, she was amazing, very personable and bubbly, and pointed us towards some recommendations for our next stop on our trip.
I have nothing but great things to say about the people who work here.
Now, the cider. It was unreal. My dad and I both like ciders, but are both averse to anything too sweet in big quantities. Regardless, we did two tasting flights (be prepared, the taster sizes are pretty big!), and liked almost every single one. A few really stood out, and we ended up buying bottles to take home to share with the family.
We didn't try any of the food, but the drinks and service here can't be beat!

Sadly, I didn't get to try any ciders or wine because I was a my lunch break from work with friends, but we did enjoy one of the best charcuterie boards I've ever had.

What an incredible delight to try out four of the incredibly crisp and bright ciders on the 4-flight sampler at EsoTerra Cider & Wines for the first time earlier this week with a friend from NM. Jared's crystal clear ciders are reminiscent of and could readily compete against comparable European counterparts. Without a doubt, EsoTerra is another wonderful local Durango gem that we will be visiting again as well as sharing with others. Our thanks to Elizabeth and Ruby for the great discussions and service, too.
This was a great part of our short Durango experience conveniently located near the railroad museum and open past 5 (about half in the area are not). I loved the Paragon cider—it was semi sweet and oaky. My partner had the buttery bourbon one which was less sweet. Service was great. They allowed us to set our bikes inside too. I wish there was a gluten free sandwich or other option but they were able to accomodate me with a salad of prosciutto, brie, and cherry jam on arugula which was still great and went well with the cider.

Sangria was 10/10. Great views, great people, great atmosphere. We’ll be back.
Will return.
They’re a few steps away from the train station, selling their own wines.
We tried a flight: two white and two red. All are good, the whites are smoother than the reds.
Warm bread, lots of it. Old forks that are from estate sales - all are good.
Robert is very friendly and fun to talk to, plus the ciders are amazing!
Pretty good cider. They experiment and create some interesting ciders. Very friendly service, background music allows for conversation. Their outdoor patio is a great location downtown.
Did not order food, so cannot comment.
