I love this place! Delicious food, nice homey feel. Can definitely get busy at peak times, but even then they are on top of it and waits aren't overly long. Definitely recommend as a place to stop on you're way out/back from the mountains.

Great place! I'll for sure come back. Good overall comfortable vibe with friendly people working here. Pretty good breakfast bagel sandwich, I'll have to try a few more things on my next visit. They have some grab-and-go stuff pre-made if that's your thing; easy to get in and out and on with your day!

I’ve been in Durango a month now, and this is the best burger I’ve found. Yes, by far better than James Ranch (I had theirs twice and not that impressed). Plus, great crispy fries. This will be my go-to burger in Durango. Atmosphere is simple roadside cafe; food and service is what matters. On that note: the staff was attentive and friendly. They made sure my pup had water. Thanks, ladies!

Stopped in at Hermosa Creek Grill and had a great meal. The seating wasn’t ideal — we got shoved into a corner, which felt a little cramped — but the food made up for it. Classic diner-style dishes that were cooked really well and hit the spot. Portions were generous, flavors were on point, and you can tell they care about the food they serve. Service was solid too. If the seating situation improves, this would easily be a 5-star spot.

Stopped by for breakfast today have to say it has gone down hill food was terrible even my fav. Green chili cheese grits were under cooked and gritty. Biscuits gravy were awful only thing the didnt mess up other than them being just warm was the eggs. Service was slow and our food was served to another table never asked if I would like a drink refill only saw waitress twice once took our order and when she dropped off the food won't be going back.
