OMG another restaurant that apparently doesn't train their people how to properly acknowledge guests/customers. In both places you have to buy your food then on a separate ticket liquor. You can't ever get time estimates and everyone at the Main location always looks pissed. The College location is just sooooo slow. Go to J Bos or Happy Pappy's

Our family came to Durango for the polar express so it was a bit late when we decided to have dinner. We had never been to Durango before and just wanted something simple since we had 3 kids. 2 of which are toddlers. We ended up walking from main st to Homeslice and when we first got there we thought it was a bar so we almost turned around. But my husband went inside and just asked if it was family friendly. It kind of looked packed but the main man (who was also bartending) had kindly asked two patrons if they would be willing to move so they can put tables together for our family of 6. That was very thoughtful and just kind to go out of the way for us I felt. Because we had kids we sat in the corner so it didn’t really seem like a bar atmosphere. The main man checked on us multiple times and addressed me by name. Even though it was a bar setting we left feeling like it was a restaurant because of the many times we were checked on. Everyone was very nice. The plus side the food was fantastic. We ordered. Wings and the behemoth pizza I think it was called. It seriously was delicious. Especially for me since I don’t even really care for pizza. I think their soda machine needed more syrup but other than that everything was perfect. Thank you to the team for making us feel welcomed.

We had the Garlic knots, cheese pizza for the kid. Ultimate Behemoth pizza and the Demon Cheese steak was great.

We decided to come here as a recommendation from a different overly crowded pizza place and we were very pleased. The college street location is the original. The bar tender was very friendly, it’s an order at the bar and they bring to your table. The pizza was delicious and two of us shared a arugula, goat cheese and candied pecan salad that was delicious as well. Highly recommend this place
