Nettie does a beautiful menu, my fav's include their French dip, any of their soups, and super fresh salads!
excellent food. great little cafe. very friendly people. worth a try!
We had a fantastic lunch at Hot Tomatoes Cafe!
I love Hot Tomatoes Cafe! We were in Durango visiting family and decided to stop for lunch. They were able to accommodate a pretty big group of us without calling ahead. The food was delicious! I had the Turkey & Cranberry sandwich and my husband tried the Tuscan Chicken sandwich-they were both outstanding. My daughter had the grilled cheese and tomato soup..she ate it so quick, I didn’t get a chance to try hers, but she loved it! The owner runs the cafe and takes great pride in her food and hospitality. I can’t say enough good things about Hot Tomatoes-we had a lovely time and a delicious meal! We’ll definitely be back!
Delicious food, great cook, cute little cafe!!!
The food was amazing! And super nice staff and the outdoor seating has a great view.
Nettie was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. She catered our small wedding and was willing to cook anything we wanted. We went with pork tenderloin that not only was amazing but they brought their smoker so it was fresh. All of our family really enjoyed the dinner and only had good things to say.
The food is amazing! We can't wait to comeback when we're in Durango.

athe food is amazing and they're so friendly! Best chucken salad sandwich in town!
Homemade delicious meals in a nice, friendly atmosphere! Will definitely visit again when in Durango!
I was hungry for lunch so I swung in to check out what the new owners could do. Even though I was the only eat-in patron it soo a half hour to get my sandwich. Food was better than average but pricey ($11) for what you get and certainly not worth the wait. Reminds me of similar experience with Yellow Carrot...doing catering and dining are two different beasts. Hopefully they work out logistics or folks won’t seek out this place that’s out of the way. Durango doesn’t have many good sandwich shops.
Thai wrap is tasty!
Why eat somewhere gross, when this food is so good!
