Love coming here on our trips. I actually know James from Ranching. This time however the lady that took our order was rude, and when the order arrived there were items missing which I know I had asked for but they said was not on the ticket. However the young guy was very nice and helped us there after! He needs to get the employee of the month! The little market was fun to and just like I remembered it!

James Ranch Grill was 100% a highlight of our trip to Durango. The ranch itself was so beautiful, with an amazing view. It was so fun to see the cows and goats, as well as visit their country store. I tried the signature burger and the fingerling fries, both of which were just amazing. It is a unique and delicious dining experience that is definitely worth it!

I'm so glad we found this gem! The staff there was super warm & you get a feeling that they are happy to be a part of this awesome operation. The mushroom burger with their house made cheese and house made rosemary aioli was something special, you can taste that the ranch takes care of its beef and the land its on with its responsible farming practices. The burger itself was so nourishing and flavorful.

Grass-fed burgers on a ranch? Say no more! Try their house made sauces, fingerling fries, and be sure to bring a friend to try this joint out with you! (No photos because the food was gone so quickly)

Best burger I've had in years and the setting was unbeatable! Love the farm's philosophy. This place is definitely worth the drive from Durango.

Good fresh food consisting of burgers and steak salads. Pay and order at the cash register and then sit. Burger and salad was yummy. Chicken soup was good but a little bland. A fun little shop next door where you can buy honey and meats.

Gave 3 stars because we got to walk the grounds but sad we made 2 trips, not realizing they were closed on Tuesdays (as well as Monday). In the 30 minutes we were there over 20 cars came and went. Odd to pass up on business. Sadly we missed out as we were only in Durango those 2 days. 😟

It’s expensive for the food you get. You’re really paying for the atmosphere, not 100% sure I’d go again.

Food was terrible. No flavor. We had to order at window outside & find our own table. We sat outside & weather & scenery was great. Overpriced.

Kid-friendliness: Great grass area for kids and pets. Petting zoo of a kind with farm animals.
