It's been 19 years, since I've had Fry Bread. And I've been hankering it for years. My husband and I split a Navajo Taco Jr.; it did not disappoint, and a Fry Bread with cinnamon and sugar. It tasted like the doughnuts my dad made for breakfast, but better. Fitting for our trip in memory of my dad's bucket list vacation out west that we didn't get to do together.
The food was not very authentic. We got the frybread burger and tamales. The burger was good, and the frybread was not what I'm used to for native frybread. The tamales tasted from a can. The rice mixture was over seasoned with chili spice. The beans had no flavor or even salt. The french fries were the best thing!! It's a cute place and the staff was friendly.
This place used to be in the mall in Farmington NM back in the late 80s and the food still tastes the same that is what you call consistent! The hot green is hot! Good food friendly service
