I would have put 5 stars for every thing, however the temperature was an issue. It was VERY cold upon arrival and we asked the waitress to please see if it could be adjusted. She was lovely and said she would speak to manager. It stopped blowing before she even had a chance. It got so comfortable and just as we were wrapping up the check it was freezing again. I watched the woman at the table next to us put on her sweater. We chatted as we were leaving and she thanked us for mentioning it earlier. So, perhaps if you mention it each time it starts to blow again it will stay comfortable Again other than that, which can effect things if you are uncomfortable, all was great .

This restaurant is outstanding! Our server was absolutely fantastic! She went out of her way to make our combination birthday and college graduation celebration a memorable occasion. They were very accommodating when I had to increase our reservation twice at the last minute. I can't wait to go back again.

My wife and I agreed that in our long adult life we had never before had to wait 25 minutes just to receive our drink orders. At that point the two glasses of wine did come, and we ordered dinner and from that point forward service was normal. We think it was because the waitress was overly involved with conversations with other patrons that had nothing to do with their food orders. The main thing is that our prime rib was perfect, and the prices at 636 are reasonable for a high quality restaurant.
We were traveling thru the area and looked up the restaurant on trip advisor. The restaurant was easy to find. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. I had the daily special of scallops and my husband had the Dungeness Crab and both were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant
We had a fantastic dinner. The food was delicious & staff members were amazing! Our group was a little louder than most so we truly enjoyed the private area on the patio. Thank you 636, for a lovely evening!

Laurie (or Lori) was our server and she was fantastic! Made us feel welcomed and gave great menu recommendations. At her suggestion, I had the pistachio encrusted grouper. It was incredible! Flavors were so good together. A couple in our party had the blackened ribeye, and another the salmon. We were all satisficed with our choices. One couple with us and was staying in Durango longer, so they planned to go back the next night to try the halibut special. If you like a good martini, the blue cheese olives have the perfect pungent taste to compliment the gin. I think we found a new favorite in Durango!
The waitress, Lori was rude and very unfriendly, as well as forgetting to bring me part of my order. I've been eating at this establishment for over 20 years, and this by far the worst experience I have ever had there. If you decide I eat there, don't use Lori, wait for a different section.

We generally love this restaurant. This time around not very good. Service was beyond slow Less than professional The dinner Caesar had been pre prepared and not fresh. Chicken/ bacon were cold. We only had one night in Durango and wished it could have been better.

As always, we received excellent service and an amazing meal! Two of us had the pistachio crusted grouper with smashed sweet potatoes and sautéed spinach which was perfect all around. The wedge salad is delicious, and was closer to a 1/2 head!

Portions on salads are BIG!! You can easily plan on sharing the mixed greens salad. The wedge salad is delightful. Prime rib portion is generous, very tasty. The grouper was enjoyed by my husband. The carrot cake was very good, just right to finish off the meal and share with your date.
The waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable. The food was good but there was room for improvement. The chicken Parmesan has an overpowering amount of a green seasoning I believe was parsley. It should have been used as a garnish not throughout the meal. The side salads are HUGE and the quality overall is excellent!!
We had a wonderful family Easter meal here tonight. We were greeted right away by the hostess; great waiter, bartender came over to check on her drinks she made for us. The owner came and was helping too! The steak was seasoned and blackened deliciously, my son loved the curry dish and the chicken piccata was so tasty. Great portions, tasty drinks, food and desserts. They had a special for dinner, drinks and for dessert. Lovely all around! Thank you!

We used OpenTable for reservations- however, it probably wasn't necessary. We were seated on time and our waitress greeted us and filled our drink order. She was friendly - helpful with menu selection - and was attentive/aware of anything we requested. Our salads - main course and desert were nicely prepared - and were served with some in-house creativity that make their meal items unique. -Recommend-
