We stayed in the “Campgrounds” near the Rodeo Arena. It was fun watching all the horse training. Great place to stay and get around on the Trolley System. Just walk across the street from the light closet to the office and see the bus stop. Only .50 for seniors to ride and we told driver where we wanted to go and they dropped us off at the closest point. Had a blast walking around downtown Durango, Railroad Museum, Coffee Shop practically on every corner. We liked being in...
I only gave 4 stars due to how dusty it is. Not complaining because this is an active Fairgrounds. 6.back in sutes, water (shared) and electric (50/30). The sites back.up.tonthe maintenance yard and in front the Arena. Enjoyed some youth riding competition and got a beautiful 2 mile walk along the river bike and walk trail.
Great place for a rodeo. I have been coming here since I was a little girl! Has changed alot but still the same feel. Miss the wall they used to have around the fairgrounds it was very iconic here in Durango.
