Our waitress was wonderful ... very attentive. The best Calamari appetizer we have had in a long time. The Caesar salad was prepared tableside and was delicious. Our table of 6 tried the Sea Bass, Chicken Piccata, Chicken Parm, a Veal entree and a Pasta with Italian Sausage. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
They were out of the two (out of four to choose from) appetizers we were interested in but they were out of both so we opted for the pasta fagoili, a thick bean soup that was oily rather than thick and was mostly absent of beans. I ordered the bass which was soaked in olive oil so much so that the texture of the fish was like paste. I couldn't finish it. My wife had a chicken dish that was tasty but dry. On the up side, Dan was a good waiter.
The overall is slipping a bit. There are some new staff that are working to get up to speed. We sat for about 15-20 minutes before we ordered and ordered wine and they attemped to deliver it to a different table. That was corrected overall service was slow, food was good. For a $200 bill for 3 people I expect better service. Every one complained about the chairs, hard bottom and very uncomfortable. Everything here needs a bit of an upgrade.
