Michel’s Crepes was a highlight of our dining experiences in Durango! The crepes were so delicious, and the crepe stand with outdoor dining had a wonderful atmosphere. I tried the chocolate, banana, and almond crepe and it was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend Michel’s Corner Crepes to anyone visiting Durango!

Cute roadside food truck and seating area. The crepes were fantastic! What was even better was watching him make our crepes and some from the people that ordered before us. There was such care in making each crepes, it was like watching an artist. I was surprised by some of the spashes of flavors that were added, but they were all incredible. If you are in the area, even for a few minutes, it is worth the stop. We were given a taste of his cider, which he served with a slice of orange, raspberry and blueberry. The presentation was so colorful and the taste was wonderful, not too sweet. It was probably the best cider that I have ever tried.

My husband, who is French, and I enjoyed a glorious autumn morning at Michel’s Corner Crepes! We almost felt transported back to France as we sat outside, surrounded by aromatic flowers and herbs, and listened to classical music and a bubbling water fountain. I was so excited after learning almost every crepe could be made gluten free for me!! My apple, cheddar, brown sugar crepe was incredible, and my husband loved his savory ham, Gruyère, tomato crepe. We were happily surprised with complimentary spiced fruit apple cider! The service was great, and Michel was so friendly and talked with us for a little while! We plan to return soon!

Wow! Just Wow!! My wife and I stumbled onto this place looking for brunch. Just a tiny trailer kitchen surrounded by a wonderful garden with tables. Although they were served on simple paper plates, The crepes were both pretty to the eye and wonderful for the palate. We had two types of apple crepes, both garnished with berries and cream. Amazing!

We have spent our summers in Durango for six years now. Despite telling ourselves we needed to try this place, we only just tried it today. I have to say, the food was delicious! We had the ham, Gruyere , and tomato crepe and the chocolate hazelnut crepe. Both were super delicious. Prices are high, but I imagine rent in downtown Durango is not cheap. Considering the crepes are big enough to split, the prices are not prohibitive.
As a side note, I can’t believe the people who rate this place with 1 star claiming the owner was rude to them because he asked them to move from his seating area because they were not customers. The only person being rude were the people who thought it was okay to sit there. Not sure why they think this was any different than them buying food at McDonalds and taking it in a different restaurant to eat. The entitlement attitude of some people!

Came here last summer as well as today. Last summer I was very clear I wanted nothing on my crepe (whipped cream, strawberries, etc) except chocolate, and they served me a fully loaded crepe. I asked if he would remake it and he grumbled and said fine, was not polite about it. This year, his helper took my order and would not even give me the courtesy of looking up at me, was cutting me off as I was speaking, and was overall very rude. Again, I asked for nothing on the crepe and he said yes I know and still messed it up. Also, $16 for a crepe the size of my hand? No thanks. I get that he's local and everything but still, not worth the money especially for the service. Not coming back!
