Generally dirty and gross, got seated, waited more than an hour for food, asked server if the kitchen had started our food, they hadn't, place was nearly empty. Paid for our drinks and left. Staff looked like they hadn't showered. Bathrooms were disgusting. Lived in the area 20 years, this place used to be good. Too bad.

One of the worst places to eat on main, the menu is completely different and the service is very sub-par, the food tasted poor and they wouldn't give us dip for our appetizer. They didn't ask if me or my wife wanted a drink. When we would ask someone for help, they would walk away saying they would ask someone else. The wait for the food was very long as well. Very sad to see a local favorite go in this direction, DONT GO.

Food was good they just are stingy with the ingredients $15 for a chicken wrap with 2 small pieces of chicken was ridiculous. Order of onion rings was 4 rings.Food tasted good but took a while to get out, waiter only checked on us once had to keep asking him to come over to our table.Food is good enough for us to give this place another chance in the future.

Just walked in to enjoy some breakfast. The place was empty. As I was standing there six other guest came in and where seated. I let the ( male) server know that there where 8 of us. His reply was “ well I’m the only server here to it might be awhile.”Never had that happen. We left!!So if they have more than six customers you won’t even get seated.I would recommend going to Oscars cafe. It was amazing and has a great atmosphere. Servers are very friendly and attentive. I give them 5 stars. ?

The chicken sandwich was okay, the bun being the best part of it. Our server, Jocelyn, could not be bothered to serve us. There were no customers when we arrived, and uneaten food on the tables, which were not clean when we were seated. I would not eat here again.

I have to say, this is one of my favorite places to eat in town. It reminds me of being a teenager, as when I first moved to Durango when I was 16, it was the first place I went and ate at.Since that time, it has changed owners, and the owner himself is an amazing chef and has completely changed the menu.100%, I suggest going there and giving it a try. The green chili stew is absolutely to die for. I will literally Drive from out of town, as I live in bayfield, to go and have a bowl of green chili stew.It just gives me a down home feeling, and I feel warm and cozy, especially with my comfort food of green chili stew.

Had double cheeseburger with fried egg on top, no buns, girlfriend had side salad. Mine was absolutely delicious, girlfriend's honey mustard dressing was sour and weird stuff in it. Service was horrible, watch your step going down to the bathroom, steps are very slippery. I'd eat the same meal again, just to go next time.

I am from out of town so was looking for an outdoor dining venue with good food. We sat on the outside patio. The place is is disarray. Dirty service stations, dead plants , and just a general dirty appearance. This should’ve been our signal to get up and leave but we didn’t. The servers were very friendly and attentive. A young man and lady waited on us and couldn’t have been nicer. I ordered the fish and chips which I would give it to 2 and my husband had a burger which he said was pretty good. It could’ve been such a lovely outdoor seating area with just a little bit of effort and cleaning. I probably would not recommend this eating establishment for a one time meal in Durango.

The food was really good, onion rings were very tasty, the service was a bit slow, we only had hamburgers, took an hour from time we got in to when we left and was not busy at that time maybe 3 tables,, ordered Green chili for them as well did not get them on burgers we asked, heard the cook said "we don't have green chili" and we were told ,, that's fine understand that, then about one minute later the green chili showes up, I was already more then half done with burger. Watched the bartender load the shaker and then used fingers to push ice down inside it. Then, he used his fingers to taste the salt from the salt tray. We would eat there many times in the past when in town quick easy lunch, but witnessing what we did, we will not return. The server did the best he could with what he was given.

Parking: It is an old small town, usa experience, and a tourist town, and that makes it hard to find parking, drove around it 3 times, and we parked a block away. Up hill to get back to vehicle.

Wheelchair accessibility: The bathroom is downstairs. I think there is outside access to the bathroom, but small at best. Not much they can do these buildings were built over 100 years ago.

A huge disappointment. I've been here many times and loved it, but it's changed and not for the better.I arrived at 7 am on a Monday and there were seats available. It took 10 minutes to get seated, at the bar, but no offer of menu or a drink. Five minutes later, two men were seated next to me and given menus and water! I walked.I love this place very much so I came back with a friend for lunch two days later. We got seated immediately and had a friendly server! We laughed with him as we figured out what to order. He kept our water and tea topped up as we waited 25 minutes for a cheeseburger and a bowl of mac and cheese! The Mac was just Mac with steak bits on top, and my burger was cooked well-done. It was dry and flavorless. I was so sad. What a heartbreak! My favorite hamburger is gone as the restaurant sold recently. The food has changed, the staff has changed, and all the history of Durango that was on the walls is gone. I hope the new owner took care of the history that existed there. I don't know if I'll go back again.

Burger was very good on the onion bun. Side salad was fresh with home made honey mustard dressing. It was our servers first day. Did a good job for a newbie!

We are Durango locals and have been eating here off and on for a long time. Like since 1989. Cleanliness down stairs at the restrooms need a lot of work. The ladies room was apparently pretty gross. The meal was ok. Under cooked but they were very accommodating to make it right. My wife's gluten free requests were forgotten but fixed. It just was not the same as it has been in the past. We are hoping to not get sick, as a lot of the food turned out to be undercooked. Just not as clean and dialed as it has been in the past. Hope they ramp it up down the road.

Formerly a core local restaurant and watering hole, in past years one could find tourists lining up outside in season, and all year round a crowed, appreciated spot for reliable short-order and blue-plate meals. Olde Tymer's time has passed however -- emblematic is the fact that the daily newspaper, found on the bar, was a week old (it used to be hot off the press for locals too cheap to spend the quarter). The place was perhaps 20% full at high noon on a Friday. Local folks must know already what I am writing here. I don't think I've seen a dirtier floor in a restaurant, though the table tops were spotless. The stairs to the toilets should be a tourist attraction themselves, for a horror tour. Sadly the food lacks any imagination, guidance, or quality control. The day's special was gnocci with chicken -- a skinless/boneless chopped in industrial pesto with store-bought gnocci. The soup of the day (fresh today, the waiter said, making one wonder about other days) was, the waiter said, cold and in the basement and needed to be warmed up, which took 25 minutes and arrived after the other meal by 10 minutes. It was nicely flavored vegetable soup, but about 50% too much water in it. Good for the gulag. Forget wine. Beers are reasonably abundant. Food might be good if you've had pints first. A lost institution at present.

Kind of pricey. 16.00 for hamburger and fries. I had the rodeo burger and it was good. Didn’t like the fries. Atmosphere was more like a pub tha cafe. The waiter and service was good
