No crowd at all during spring break week. Had reservations for 7 and only a couple tables occupied.

El lugar es el mismo que se utiliza durante las mañanas para la comida rápida, únicamente se cambian las mesas y se agregan algunos platillos al menú de comida rápida, cumple sin ser nada espectacular

The Service staff was friendly and hard working but under staffed. Half of the menu items were not available, including the wine and beer selections. The food was't bad, but not exceptional for the money. Your customers deserve better management

Purgy's can be hit or miss with slow service, but we had a pleasant experience tonight. Our party of 3 ordered 2 burgers with fries and Chicken Saltimbocca along with a cocktail and pint of a red ale on draft. All were cooked well and arrived quickly. The beer was great, the cocktail not so much. We have not had the best luck with the cocktails here. They taste like chemicals and are overpriced. The best part of Purgy's is undoubtedly the view. The servers are friendly and mostly attentive as long as the restaurant isn't crowded.

Booked this place, first day in town. Host said there is a wait list even with a reservation, suggested we eat the bar. We did so, menu was very limited, the it took hour and half to get out food. Nice people but clearly do not know how to run a restaurant. Stay away.

The food was great and the few servers working were excellent. They were very understaffed. It took 45 minutes to get our food. It was very good when it came. With the limited food options late at night at this resort we were pretty much stuck with what we had.

Ordered a kids hot dog and waited over an hour for a cold hot dog. They are severely short staffed and should stop taking orders when they get backed up.

We all had different items from the menu for dinner on a weekday night and really enjoyed all the food. We normally travel for food but didn't expect much from the only place open for dinner ON the mountain. The French onion soup was great! The gruyere cheese was perfect the temperature could have been hotter. The elk sliders were fantastic. The cheeseburger was surprisingly the most expensive thing we ordered but it and the fries were great. My wife had a salmon Caesar salad and the salmon was better than great. The salmon filet was really the highlight of the night.Service was fantastic, both servers checked on us plenty.I don't understand all the negative reviews but I would recommend Purgys.

They were out of like five different things when we went and it took forever but our server was good and the food was good once it came

It took 1 1/2 hours to get our food and it wasn’t even busy. The food was average at best. The manager offered us free dessert because it took so long. We had 6 people, 4 of them kids, and no one ate their dessert because they were so bad. To top it off they tried to change us for the dessert. The entire experience cost us $300 and 3 hours of our life. Just wow.

If you are staying at Purgatory Lodge and are considering to eat at the “Durango Mountain Club” do yourself a favor and bring your own food or eat elsewhere. It took an hour and a half for our food to arrive and it was so so. The manager offered us free dessert given the long wait, but what we got was planing disgusting. You could not even break the “skillet” cookies that did not come in a skillet and the cheese cake did not deserve the titled. Most interestingly the waitress was not filled in, even though she was right there when the manager offered free desert and she needed to redo our bill. On a positive note, the bartender was super fun, but the drinks are nothing to write home about.

My rating is based off of the dinner menu. The lunch menu on the other hand was great food. Avoid their dinner menu at all costs.
