I love switchback’s food. But their service is just bad. The servers are rude and slow and seem to avoid their tables. It’s really confusing because they have a great menu selection and their blackberry marg is a personal favorite, but every time I go there I have a bad experience with the service.
So good we ate here 2 days in a row while in Durango. Service was fast and friendly. Food had great flavor and tasted fresh. Margaritas were also good. I wish the portion sizes were a little bigger but overall highly recommend.
Ordered the Asado Plato and I shared w/daughter. So we divided it up the minute it arrived and it revealed so much oil that the fries were sitting in. I wouldn’t plate up my food this way at home and when ordering fries from like a fast food they don’t serve it sitting in oil. Was a turn off. The corn needs a splash of lime and tahin and it would’ve been perfect. We also ordered chips and salsa and we added some of the bottled hot sauce on the table and it was perfect. Appreciated...
