Was met at the front by lively & friendly staff. Seated fast for 3. Food was tasty. ONLY complaint...i ordered the salmon bla bla...when it came, the serving size was child size. No sides, but was plated beautifully. My hiking buddy ordered the cod..it was just as small, with minimal veggies. His wife..ordered the Prime Rib..came with potatoes & greens. Good size. Me & my buddy left unsatisfied. So, if your hungry, you may need to double up on the fish plates. Prime Rib was $45.00. Fish plates were $26.00ish. Keith, the wait staff, was awesome. Food WAS tasty, just not enough of it. Kodos to the chef for the excellent food plating & presentation.

Nice place in Durango. Wasn’t very busy when we arrived on a week night. Layla was our server & she was so friendly & efficient! Brought us drinks promptly & they were great! Husband ordered a breaded cod dish over mashed potatoes & said it was delicious. I ordered my favorite- prime rib. It was cooked medium, just as I like it! Very tender & seasoned perfect! Mashed potatoes were good also. It’s been very difficult to find prime rib this tender & well prepared- & actually served very hot- as it should be! I was very pleased & shared a few bites with husband, who also said it was great! Kudos to Layla for a great job!

The food and service are just outstanding! 10/10! We came to Durango for one night and wanted to eat something tasty. So we found The Roost and ordered burgers, a sandwich and a salad. The food was delicious, well prepared. We were very positively received by the waitress named Mallory. She helped us order best food, brought it very quickly, wished us bon appetit. While eating she came to ask if everything is okey (everything was perfect all the time 😀). Mallory had very positive energy, was helpful and friendly. She gave us the best service during our Utah-Arizona-Colorado trip. If we come to Durango again, we will definitely visit The Roost!

The dining experience at this establishment is truly exceptional. The quality of the chicken is consistently high, and the preparation is always perfect. A small accident occurred when I unintentionally spilled a condiment. The staff handled the situation with remarkable courtesy and efficiency. Overall, the restaurant provides a great meal, accompanied by top-notch service.
The prime rib is very good. The service was great and the restaurant cozy. Definitely will be back the next time I'm in Durango.

If you like Applebees, you’ll love The Roost. We were seated immediately. The service is good here as the hostess was nice and the server was great and attentive. The Calamari appetizer had good breading but was very very rubbery. Prime rib was perfectly cooked and tasty. The diver’s scallop special was very underwhelming and bland. If you’re in Durango and looking for safe flavors and great drinks, The Roost is your place.
