This place has great sandwiches for a solid price. However , the bread comes out burnt every single time. (Sourdough) This makes the whole sandwich taste acrid and ruins the delight in taking a huge yummy bite. There is a fine line between toasted and burnt. It would go a long way for the staff to understand what that taste does to the food. Other than that - with a small adjustment - this place would have 5 stars from me.

First thery hade no sour dough bread ..and that other bread just not good. And I told them I wanted it for Togo...and they put for there...plus it echos so much in there I couldn't even hear ...also the parking very limited. Sorry I won't be back .

I am not a fan of the atmosphere but it seems like others were. A little pricey for a sandwich, bag of chips and a drink and not even getting a deli pickle on the side. I'll come back because the place is always packed for lunch but I won't get the Ruben again...it was OK at best.

Highly recommend the Fried Melanzana! They were out the first time we tried but it was worth the wait to get it next time. Sour dough was fantastic. Good fries too! It’s nice to find a sandwich shop with fries instead of chips.
Vegetarian options: A couple vegan sandwich options, highly recommend the Fried Melanzana.

I have been back twice since my original post. Both time my experience was exceptional. Thanks Tom for being so quick to take care of my complaint. It means the world to have a owner that cares and is so quick to get things back on track.
After reviewing, Tom reached out to express his concern. I will return soon and see if this was a one time thing. The food has been excellent up to now. I hope they can get this corrected with proper training.........
Original review... Just had a burnt middle cut sandwich given to me. After complaining they remade but it was still burnt tasting. After looking at the griddle, I know why it was that way. The griddle was smoking and covered with black burnt material. I have worked as a chef for many years and it is obvious that the young man on the line didn't know any better or just didn't care that he was ruining everything that he put on. The food has been incredible here since it has opened and Tom has always been there. This time it was horrible and he was no where around. I know it is hard to find people who care as much as you do Tom, but I will never spend my money on a sandwich here again unless your present. That was just terrible.
