Hands down one of the best places to eat! My coworker told me about them and now I’m trying everything on the menu. Even the bakery goods. I’m getting!!

Staff was super nice, prices were great. The made to order food is a little slow, but I wasn’t in a rush today so it was fine for me. They have fresh “grab and go” premade burritos if you don’t want to wait. Coffee was good and they offer free refills. Got a huge brownie to snack on with my coffee.

In my experience, this place is already extremely overpriced, and the issues don’t stop there. Before I even received any service, I was prompted to choose a tip amount. Being asked for a tip upfront felt predatory, unfair, and completely unprofessional. It seemed like this was a standard practice, which only made the situation more uncomfortable. The whole interaction created a pressured, manipulative atmosphere that no customer should have to deal with.
If you don’t want to face high prices and high-pressure tipping tactics before any service is provided, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Paid $10 for a blt with maybe one dry old piece of bacon on it. Very disappointing.

Upper East is my morning go-to. Emily and Hailey are my favorite outstanding baristas providing kindness and STRONG iced lattes like jet fuel. The burritos put the Maverick ones to shame. The sandwiches are delicious, and the ambiance inside makes a perfect place for me to plug in and focus on extra work as I start my day. Thanks for everything Upper east and the folks running it!

Took the cooks 40 minutes to make a breakfast sandwich. Barista was nice and helped chase my order down. Thankful for her!

Deducted a star because the prices are extreme for what you receive but the people working there are nice so will still over pay and continue going there! However put up a tip jar or something because please stop asking me each purchase if I want to tip I already did by paying 15 bucks for a egg and cheese croissant and nothing else lol
