Very nice small diner. Service was great and the food was out fairly quickly. Great food and menu, plus the dessert was delicious.

When I was planning my trip to Lamar, I was looking for restaurants along the way that would be great breakfast options. JJ's had popped up on my radar, from that moment on, I was intrigued. Seeing the praises that this restaurant had, I figured that it would be worth the try. I do not regret making that choice at all. I had a chicken fried steak with gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toast for breakfast. That might be an odd breakfast offering for those that are of the uninitiated, but it was definitely worth the money ordering it! Thank you for your wonderful service and home cooking, Jennifer! I will be stopping here from now on whenever I come out that way!

Real amrican dinner. The waitress was incredible nice. The place is not super nice, but is a good to eat on the road. Food was good and fresh. Please try the pay. It was really good.

This is a very good place for lunch, the half chef’s salad was huge. The ice tea was fresh brewed, and was large as well. My favorite was the Rubin sandwich with a side salad, but the fries looked very good. I plan on ordering a whole pie to go next time.

Nice locally owned place! Good food, environment, and location. Cooked home style with good ingredients- not overly salty or greasy like many lab formulated chain restaurants nowadays! I had a breakfast burrito and biscuits and gravy. The salsa was spicy and flavorful and not just watered down tomato paste like ~90% of places! Hash browns were ?. Sausage was cooked and seasoned well. Good service and nice stop :)Parking: Enough to park any number or size of vehicles.

Favorite breakfast spot on our annual trek to SW Colorado. Been eating there since before I can remember, which is forever since I'm 53.
