“Great bartenders and great karaoke!“
“$11 for a craft beer and a mixed drink? Yes thanks. They also give out free shots but they seem a lot like Tampico.
I'm a huge fan of old school dive bar atmosphere and this is everything I could dream of. Back to the jukebox now...“

“A HUGE thank you to Dave and Pam at RiNo Country Club for going above and beyond to make our Mini Golf - Hero Edition event a success. They opened early, waived the venue fee, and were incredibly accommodating from start to finish. Not only that but the space was perfect, and their flexibility made everything run smoothly. If you're looking for a fun, welcoming venue in Denver for your next event, RiNo Country Club is the place to be. We can't wait to come back!“

“This place is incredible! My wife and I love a hometown dive and we found it on our trip to Denver last week. Megan the bartender and the owners were awesome and everyone was very welcoming. We spent a few hours here and would have stayed longer if we didn’t have to meet some friends downtown (womp womp) 10/10 Will be going back next trip and can’t wait!!“
“Stopped in mid-day Sunday for a Bloody Mary and Bloody Maria. Although very quiet, we were happy to visit with the bartender. House made mix extra spicy as ordered. Bartender was an absolute gentleman and EASY on the eyes ?! Will have to check this place out on a Friday or Saturday evening. Exceptionally clean bathrooms a plus!“

“This macabre meeting place is a nod to horror films of every ilk. Dungeonous decor includes skull artifices and all manners of dark memorabilia. The poutine, chosen in homage to bygone Canadian allies, was pretty, pretty good. I love that the menu’s meat-centric choices are badged with a bloody butcher knife, translated by the legend as “Something was Murdered,” to at least perhaps peck at the shell of consumer cognitive dissonance. Next time I plan on murdering that bahn mi.“

“Came here spontaneously one night with my friends while it was busy and had an incredible time! Staff were friendly and drinks are reasonable in pricing. 10/10 will be coming back again for some sick dive bar vibes. Bartender Mary was incredible!!“
“I don’t even know where to start—this place is dangerously good. Ice-cold draft beers, free bingo on Tuesday, and free pool? I’m half convinced they’re trying to keep me here forever. The moment I walked in, I felt like I’d just stepped into my living room—if my living room had a better beer selection and someone named Mel, who is hands down the best bartender I’ve seen in 35 years. I’ll be making “accidental” trips to Colorado just so I have an excuse to come back. only thing you have to worry about is make sure you clean up the bingo sheets if you don’t you have to answer to Mel.100/10“
“The Best bartender here is Leticia, I've been coming to the Athmar off and on for awhile now and the best bartender is Leticia she is hands down the best she always knows exactly what I need or any of my friends when we walk in she's the best so polite and on top of her game we will always keep going back thank you so much Leticia for being so happy and so amazing every time we go there your amazing ? keep doing what you do“

“Visiting friends while on vacation from Indianapolis. The Nob Hill Inn came highly recommended by a friend. When we walked in, I knew that I would love the place. And I do! Definitely going to swing back thru when I come back out to Denver! Thank you for the great time and atmosphere! Cheers!“
“We were chilling for the first time in the Mile High City, thinking we were heading to the Lion’s Lair comedy club, and somehow Google maps ended up taking us to the Denver Zoo Lion's Lair first—my buddy and I looked at each other like, “We're freeing the lions or what?” Luckily, the real spot was just four minutes away. Cheap drinks, raw comedy, and a dive-bar vibe that will make you laugh, cringe, and maybe fall in love with a comic still figuring out their bits—Lion’s Lair is pure chaos in the best way. Keep an open mind. Make art not war.“
“A place I would hang out at“
“I recommend very highly that folks visit this long time Pub . Great management, great staff, and a great time to be had .“
“The Squire is such a cool dive bar — exactly what you hope for in a neighborhood spot. It’s laid-back, unpretentious, and has that perfect dive bar vibe without trying too hard. The drinks are cheap, the bartenders are friendly, and the atmosphere makes it easy to relax and have a good time.
If you’re looking for a spot in Denver that feels local and fun, this is it. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in town.“
“Great neighborhood watering hole.“
“Nice bartenders and they care enough to treat you nice!!!“
“Great people watched place, and the live entertainment the management is bassass! And the owners are also bad ass! The Beer GIRl looking bartender is on the ball. That have good security measures protecting everyone! Last night was funny, fun and hilarious!“

“Working man's bar. Early morning special, 2 fers. Beer and shot. Friendly atmosphere. Partially enclosed patio, with big fire place.
Parking: The parking lot is small, maybe 15-18 spaces. If the lot is full, go by the bar, turn right at the next intersection, and park along the side of the road and walk around to the front of the bar.“

“Pioneer has the best bartenders around. Brian taught me how to successfully invest in the stock market and now I’m a millionaire; Eva lovingly and willingly hand-feeds me tacos because I was born without arms; Bret (with only one T) lets me win at putputt (with two Ts) every time; Jason personally saved my entire family from a burning building (that he set on fire); and Hailey is just crazy hot. Highly recommend!“

“This is not a bar — it’s a living artifact. A sacred ruin. A cash-only cathedral of cheap beer and brutal honesty parked right on the edge of Sloan’s Lake, Denver’s glimmering puddle of cosmic reflection. The Lakeview Lounge doesn’t care about your apps, your IPA flights, or your precious little debit card. Bring cash, order your drink, and stay out of the way.
I asked for a Coors Light — and bless them, they poured it into a glass. Not a mason jar. Not a frosty mug. A glass. Clear, cold, straight from the tap. It hit exactly as advertised: like a liquid apology from the state of Colorado itself. Not fancy. Not ironic. Just beer the way it was meant to be — fast, cold, and consumed within earshot of a pool cue smacking chalk-dusted vengeance into a corner pocket.
The pool table in back? A survivor. Sloped. Slightly angry. You don’t line up shots so much as negotiate them. The regulars know the lean, the light, the curse words that help. Play at your own risk.
And then there’s that patio — a stone slab of outlaw luxury with a direct line of sight to modern America in four acts: bar, busy street, walking trail, lake. You sip your drink with traffic howling ten feet from your skull, joggers panting past in the distance with Bluetooth ears and haunted eyes, and beyond them all, the lake — shimmering like a lie you almost believed. There’s peace out there, if you squint past the madness.
Five stars. No flair, no plastic in your wallet. Just glass-poured salvation, a battered pool table, and the best damn view in the city. The Lakeview Lounge isn’t for everyone — just the lucky few who know exactly where to sit and what to order.“
