Absolutely delicious! Got the winter fricassee and it was the best New American style vegetarian meal I’ve ever had. Perfect example of fresh, vegetable-forward, and creative food.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had! They also mix up their menu based on the season, so it never gets old. Very reasonable price what you are getting. A bonus is that all meals to go are in paper to-go containers. Everyone is super nice and service is great! I highly recommend for vegans and non-vegans.
I have been a few times and every dish I have had is vibrant, flavorful & makes the vegetables sing. I am so glad to have them at Edgewater Public Market, where a lot of the rest of the business are centered around fried food.Their current cabbage dish is mouthwatering & so filing! My non-vegetarian husband loves their stuff too. If you like veggies, you have to try Gladys.

Edgewater, great way for everyone to get what they want. Gladys, see-food and Brussel sprouts. No problem to tweak seasoning. Would get it again!

I think if you’re new to being vegan or don’t cook it at home often this place will seem amazing. But otherwise it just is OK solid vegan food. I felt it was a little overpriced for what you get and everything is 1.5% more expensive than what’s listed on the menu.

Whenever I'm at the public market I always get Gladys! Everything on their menu is delicious and I love that they change it up with the seasons. I especially like when they have special dishes!
I love everything about this place expect that’s it not across the street from me. I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten from here. I dream of the Ruben and every pasta dish. The fried green tomatoes were heavenly and I wish the could be on the menu all the time. I love the thoughtful, and creative seasonal menus. You can tell the food is made with love by people who know what they are doing and the service is always friendly. Also get the cookie!
Loved it. I'm an omnivore and will eat anything good.Had the winter fricassee. It was creamy, crunchy, and hearty. It was a little onion-heavy - many bites were onion only, but at least there was a delicious sauce to swipe them in. Still five stars though. The rest of the menu looked delicious also.

Don't skip a visit here if you like plants. The Rueben is their staple and to die for and everything else makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The chefs make mind blowing food and even my meat loving partner would rather eat this than a burger. If they held cooking classes, I'd sign up in a second! I want to learn to make tofu with perfect chewy texture just like they do!

Had 3 super dishes. The Gnocchi, the Rueben and the fricasse. Also had Brussels sprouts as a side. Wonderful flavors and our son loved the Gnocchi.
Root Vegetable Rueben is seriously so delicious! So glad I gave it a try.
