We are regulars at Edgewater Public Market. Unfortunately, overall, this place leaves a lot to be desired. Start with the good; the fact that they have alcohol, and the atmosphere. They have a full bar. It’s nothing special, and actually on the expensive side, but they will serve you, which is quite welcome after a long day of work. Now the atmosphere. It’s a well-decorated spot with lots of seating and a couple TVs. That’s about it. Now onto the not so good. The staff is cordial; not friendly, just cordial. A smile here or there would be great They also show zero sense of urgency or ability to prioritize customers who were in line first. Unfortunately for you (their customer), they are the only spot to get wine and mixed drinks. So you will just have to roll with the punches, fork out your $25 for two drinks, and be on your way. Legitimately some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I’m actively writing this while waiting at the bar while the bartender is ignoring us and the bar back is juicing limes staring at us. Kind of crazy considering there is one bar guest other than us. I genuinely dislike all the staff at this bar. I am ignored religiously, maybe because I’m a gay woman? I don’t know, but I don’t recommend. Avoid if you can.

Well, where do I start? The atmosphere is great. The food is delicious but the bartenders just suck. They think they know more than you automatically, You ask a question about a drink and they hit you with a snotty answer. You kinda don’t feel welcomed at the bar like if you’re bothering them to order your drink that is still gonna cost you over $15 besides a beer. Heavier set guy (bartender) was pretty rude to a female next to me asking a simple question about a tequila he gave her a snotty answer and proceeded to cough covering his hands and still making drinks. Kind of gross. If you’d like to feel belittled, This is a perfect bar for you.

Fantastic bartenders atmosphere a little bit loud for carrying on a conversation but all the drinks looked amazing and you can bring the food in from the food area and enjoy yourself while you’re having whatever cocktails air conditioning isn’t too bad. I would like to see it a little bit colder butit’s a very open area so I think that’s why it’s a little bit warmer than I think it should be for as hot as it is but definitely it must come and check it out.

On my visit last night, I found the female bartender to be unfriendly, which seems to be a recurring issue with her. At 8:30 PM, I asked if we could watch the Denver Nuggets playoff game, but she declined, stating it might encourage patrons to linger. As a Denver resident, I was surprised that a local bar wouldn’t support our team during the playoffs.
Visited on April 1st, 2025, between 5-7 PM and was charged $28.80 for drinks. I tipped in cash and did not add a tip to my card. However, when I checked my statement today, the charge had increased to $34 without my authorization.
This is completely unacceptable. If this was a tip adjustment made without my consent, that is fraudulent. I expect businesses to operate with integrity, and this kind of charge manipulation is ridiculous. I will be disputing this charge with my bank if it is not corrected immediately.
I strongly urge management to address this issue, as it raises concerns about how transactions are being handled.

Had a good drink, and dude came behind the bar agressively cleaning the metal grates slinging dirty bar water around my open drink. I literally tipped more than my one drink cost before this happened. Why would you be doing all of that with people sitting there?

Not worth your money or time. Rude staff, and from the reviews below rude is always on the menu. I asked for a ginger based non-alcoholic drink. The bartender was so rude, I just walked away. Prior to our interaction he was rudely telling patrons not to smoke outside, they pointed there was no signage. He stated "well you still can't smoke here" and then didn't hold the door for his coworker holding a box.
