I’ve eaten at Craftsman many times. Tonight was one of the worst experiences ever. It was busy as it always is but not crazy. A buddy and I just wanted a drink or two. Bar was full so we stood behind and after 25 min of being ignored trying to wave down the bartender a hostess said we could sit at a high top. We sat down and ordered after 10 min two drinks. After another 30,min and no drinks a lady came by and asked how we were doing. When we said it had been over an hour since we walked in and over 30 min since we ordered a drink she said “we are busy”. She went to check, brought my buddy his drink then told me they couldn’t make mine as they were out of ginger beer. It’s a Thursday in September….very frustrating. I drank my water and left. Maybe an off night but it was a horrible experience.

Husband and I split the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the meat lovers pizza. Both were bomb. Our friends got the fish tacos and a smash burger and they had great reviews of their food as well. Loved the open kitchen concept and ambiance of the place. For sure going to go again when we come back!

The regular menu is always on point, but the Saturday night special Chicken Pot Pie is next level delicious!

Over-priced food and inattentive bar staff.

I had a take-away order for two sandwiches ($22/each) + $5 for fries. Paid almost $10 in tax + additional fees for the kitchen and service. My total order was over $60... for two sandwiches.

I waited at the bar for my order and was ignored by all three bartenders (2 males/1 female). They were chatting behind the bar flirting with the female bartender and looking at their phones. I felt invisible to be sitting at a nearly empty bar and ignored by service people. I moved over to the kitchen area and sat quietly by myself waiting for my order. I've never felt to small.

No one should walk out of any establishment feeling obsolete. I am over this place. :(

Great value and best smashed burgers around. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great for lunch or a casual dinner.

Ordered a house single burger and side salad. Burger was overcooked. Usually comes with cheese and grilled onions. This one did not. One fourth of the bun was stale. Ordered ranch dressing on the side. I got that, but the salad was soaked in vinaigrette. I've had several burgers here and before today, they've always been very good.

Brought me a bone dry sandwich with no sauce on it. When I pointed it out our waitress said no problem I’ll get you some. When I got the bill I saw they charged me extra for the sauce that wasn’t on my sandwich. When I pointed this out, she just said “oh that’s just how they come.” This place will nickel and dime you on top of their already over priced food.

Food was good. However, be ready to pay everything separately. If you order a vodka tonic, you will be charged for the vodka and the tonic separately. It is like flying on C class airlines where you will be charged for everything. I am surprised we were not charged for the water or limes.

Good place for lunch or dinner. Good selection of unique beers. Beware the black tables and chairs outside on sunny days.

Craftsman was better than we’d hoped. The Reuben is to die for. And parm fries were incredible and such a great food idea. I’ll definitely be back!

So I went here on a drive through Edwards, no expectations, no recommendations from friends… but HOT dog will I be telling everyone about this place. For years I’ve been that negative Nancy who says that Colorado’s food culture is extremely lacking, especially on the western slope. No more can I say such a thing.

Yes the cost of food and drink here is more than I’d like (it is a Colorado mountain town), but holy moly fagioli, was it 10000% worth it.

Veggie lovers rejoice, the mushroom Ruben is incredible. The Brussels sprouts are out of this world, cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce with complexity and depth you rarely see in this part of the country.

Meat-mensches, throw your hands in the air! The green chili cheese steak makes Colorado and Philly proud.

The beer is also tasty, but I’m less of a beer connoisseur.

Anyways, fantastic all around. Sit on the patio if the weather is nice. I hope they’re around for a long time.

We were blown away by Craftsman and will definitely come back again! Service was great and speedy. The Brussel sprouts were unlike anything we have tasted before. The poke bowl is a must and the burger lived up to be the best in the valley. The only small thing we have to say is the picnic tables could be replaced as they are quite lopsided and worn.

We had an incredible experience thanks to our amazing server, Gwen! She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. Her service was top notch.

The food was absolutely delicious. The smashburger, green chili cheesesteak, and poke bowl are favorites.

Between Gwen’s stellar service and the incredible food, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

I got to meet the owners while they were sponsoring the Big Horn cycling race in Gypsum. Great people and great beer. I will have to come check out the brewery in person.
