My wife and I go to the Vail Valley pretty often and this is our favorite restaurant. During happy hour, which I think is from 2 to 5, they have a discount on many of the cheeses and a couple of really nice happy hour drink specials on the wines. Occasionally, they also have oysters on the half shelf that are very fresh.
There’s 25 or 30 different cheeses that you can get. They come in a small portion and they can be served with all sorts of little nuts and dried fruits and honey and figs.
There’s also some sandwiches, soups, and other options if you want to eat something other than cheese. It’s a really fun place. During peak times, you might have to wait.

The Falafel sandwich was very good and light, and their daily soup was really yummy. Our server forgot one of our drinks, and when she realized she apologized and the drink was on the house. A great place in Edwards for a quick bite!

The Drunken Goat is my favorite place for an after work glass of wine and the best selection of cheese. With music on the patio, life doesn’t get better than enjoying food and drink with friends!

We had lunch here. It's not a comfortable place. It's very loud, and they have those industrial metal chairs that even a regular-sized butt has trouble squeezing into. The service wasn't bad. The food was pedestrian but pricey (a small sandwich and potato chips). A large party showed up, were seated across the middle of the floor, and my wife and I could literally not hear each other talk over the din of voices, screeching chairs on concrete, and inexplicably loud music, the latter of which only added to the cacophony. A party next to us finally left before ordering. However, the main flaw in the comfort department is that they have a large seating area, inside and outside, which can accommodate dozens of diners (and did), many of whom are drinking beer, yet they have only one, unisex, single-seater restroom. If this was only a wine and cheese store and not a restaurant, that might make sense, but it's also a restaurant.

One of my family’s absolute favorite spots in the Vail Valley!
Drunken Goat is awesome - phenomenal cheese selection, great outdoor patio during summer, and the service is amazing. We have nut and gluten allergens to deal with when going out, and the service of Drunken Goat has always been above and beyond. If you have an allergen and are worried about going out to eat, the staff at Drunken Goat are very knowledgeable and will make you feel right at home!
Also- the chicken panini is so good.

Wonderful little restaurant in Edwards. All sorts of small sack foods or larger plates.
We enjoyed the cheese plates and Salmon bruschetta which were wonderful and not expensive at all.
Sorry about the quality of the picture of the food but we were sat under a red Sun umbrella.
