After not visiting our local sonic in over a year, we decided to swing through the drive thru tonight. Wish we hadn't. The employee did not speak clearly and sounded as if she was rushed. It did not get better at the window. There were 2 cars in the parking and I was the only one in the drive thru. Not busy that I could see. The burgers we ordered did not taste like the sonic we have had any where else or in the past at this location. The double hamburger tasted as if it was rotten. The green chili on my burger couldn't hide the taste of old meat. We threw them both away and ate the tots. They were fresh and hot so we were thankful for that. Had I been closer to the restaurant when we attempted to eat our food, I would have returned it and explained why. I just didnt feel like driving back to get another rotten burger. What happened? Sonic used to be a great place to get a burger. Very disappointed. I now understand why this sonic is never busy anymore. The prices went up and the quality and service went down. This was a waste of money and time. The cherry needs slush was good and the tots were fresh and hot but the burgers were terrible. We just tried giving them to our dogs and they would not eat the hamburger. Something is wrong there.

I've visited twice in the last 10 days. Burgers are good, and thanks for making my fries extra crispy as asked. Your iced tea is very good. I miss the days when your Rt44 drinks came in sturdy Styrofoam cups. They changed to flimsy cups that a straw would punch through spilling your drink over you and usually your car. Now the new plastic cups are sturdy but don't keep drinks cold for long. Also I shouldn't have to ask servers to bring, salt, peppers , ketchup, napkins and that fabulous mint to me. They should be in the bag. And a hand full of napkins please not just one.

It was a sunny Friday. Birds chirped. Hope swelled. I had one thing on my mind and one thing only: the Heath Blast from Sonic. I had been dreaming about it since lunch, and it wasn’t even breakfast yet. Crunchy, chocolatey toffee chunks nestled in creamy vanilla ice cream—it was going to be my reward for surviving another day of pretending I understood how Excel works.
I pulled up to the Sonic drive-in like a cowboy approaching a saloon. I could taste the toffee before I pulled up in the drivethru. The intercom crackled to life, and I summoned my sweetest, most polite voice.
“Hi there, could I please get a large Heath Blast? Extra Heath, if you don’t mind.”
The voice on the other end confirmed my order with the enthusiasm of a DMV sloth, and I waited. Minutes passed. Anticipation built. This wasn’t just a dessert—it was therapy in a cup.
Then the moment arrived.
They handed me the cup, and zipped away before I could inspect it. Which was my first mistake.
I looked down at the first chance i got. My heart dropped. My pupils dilated in confusion.
There were three Heath pieces. Three. And one of them looked like it was just a shadow of a real piece. I Whimpered.
I stirred the cup furiously, like a tiny archaeologist looking for fossils of the promised toffee. Nothing. Just vanilla as far as the spoon could dig. I was a man betrayed.... needless to say, I will not be back.

I should have just gone to subway. I have never eaten sonic food this bland and over cooked before. Chicken strips, dark brow due to either old oil or overcooked, could only eat half of each shriveled strip and no flavor, they didn’t ask if I wanted any sauce. Tots were bland, usually I crave the tots from sonic because they have a slight salt but not at this one. The cheese sticks were cool as I’m not fresh tasting. The gal said two words max, the look on her face was a “I hate my job” look. Can I have my tip, money and time back? I’m so unsatisfied. This will most likely be the last Sonic visit for us.
They get my orders wrong
I rarely have issues at the drive-thru. The food is usually fresh. Their fries are not good.
Horrible. Half frozen fries and mozzarella sticks. Large fry half full. Called to try and make things right and they don’t even have a manager on duty to be able to compensate. Never again
