We were staying in Idaho Springs and ate here one day for lunch. The food was very good and served by very friendly people. The grilled cheese sandwich was one of the best I've ever had! We shared a chocolate shake that was delicious. Enjoyed it so much, we returned the next day. Will be back the next time we are in the area.
This is a truly a "mom and pop" place. Both people seem to really enjoy what they're doing and are especially friendly. My husband ordered the "Christmas Chili" (half traditional red chili and and half green chili, served on a bed or Fritos). He commented several time how much he enjoyed it. His meal also came with a cheese stick, bag of chips, a stem of red grapes and a pre-packaged Rice Krispie bar. I ordered a grilled turkey/provolone sandwich which...
