Chicken enchiladas were mediocre, and cheese enchiladas should be outright avoided. They’re made with shredded American cheese of the cheapest kind, and it wasn’t even melted. The fact that other people have praised the food in this place makes me think that either I should try ordering something else or Denver standards for Mexican food are really, really low.

I wanted to like this little place but twice ordered burritos with green chili and didn't get it. Wait was 15 minutes. Please go somewhere that can make a decent burrito with green chili.

It doesn't look like much but this is a "hidden" gem. 24 hours and a drive through means you never need to go to Taco Bell again (this food is far superior for almost the same prices which seems ludacris). The green chilli burrito is a 10/10 for me - I don't even add hot sauce because it's perfectly spicy as is. It may be a painted old burger king but what it lacks in "ambiance" it more than makes up for in quality and value.

The food is awesome. The service is terrible I went there tonight about midnight for 2 smothered burritos. I was given one, the guy who served me asked the other one who took the order "if this stupid gringo ordered 2 burritos." She said yes. Just remember white people can speak Spanish too.

We tried Alvarado’s for the first time this past Friday night and here we are eating it again on Saturday night! We used to go to tacos rapidos which is a similar fast food Mexican restaurant but their quality has gone down significantly recently. Needless to say we found our replacement and Alvarado’s is much better than they ever were! Great food and cheaper than other fast food Mexican places!
