We tried Alvarado’s for the first time this past Friday night and here we are eating it again on Saturday night! We used to go to tacos rapidos which is a similar fast food Mexican restaurant but their quality has gone down significantly recently. Needless to say we found our replacement and Alvarado’s is much better than they ever were! Great food and cheaper than other fast food Mexican places!
I was in the area and decided to stop in.The food is authentic and the menu has plenty of options. I wasn't sure what to get so I chose the asada torta. Asada is simple but always good if done right. The asada torta had plenty of flavor and not too many veggies which I like. I will be going here again and recommend anyone to stop in if you're in the area.

It doesn't look like much but this is a "hidden" gem. 24 hours and a drive through means you never need to go to Taco Bell again (this food is far superior for almost the same prices which seems ludacris). The green chilli burrito is a 10/10 for me - I don't even add hot sauce because it's perfectly spicy as is. It may be a painted old burger king but what it lacks in "ambiance" it more than makes up for in quality and value.
