Chop Shop Casual Urban Eatery

Had the grilled salmon on rice with grilled veggies. It was pretty good, though the glaze has a particular taste which is due to the achiote. It's not bad, just a unique taste. The quality of the food was good though the rice was dry, almost like an instant rice would be. Also had a glass of wine with dinner. Place has a small inside eating area with a covered patio as well. Price was a little high, $34 before tip, but hopefully they are paying their staff well. Would eat here again.

We ordered pickup from the chop shop website directly. We got a full salad with chicken added and paid over $18 for this salad, before tax/fees/etc. Salad is barely bigger than my phone. And the size of my hand. The smallest bowl of salad I've ever paid for that wasn't a side salad. I tried to call and complain but they dont answer and there is no voicemail.

I was craving French onion soup and came across a review for this restaurant and decided to try it! It was fantastic! I will be back to try the short ribs! The restaurant is very clean and the owner is super friendly. This is a very casual restaurant serving phenomenal food!

The sandwiches and entrees here are bomb as is the soda fountain. There is kind of no good food south of Arizona ave down to the Broadway zone of Englewood (gothic theatre district) so we end up driving south for client catchup meetings etc. fancier than the deli section of king soopers

I eat here all the time, the salmon is amazingly good! The woman with the glasses and black hair is so nice every time I come in.

Just came here for the first time with no idea what to expect for the menu, so delicious! Cant wait to come back. Love the diversity of menu options. The crispy fried tofu in olive oil is soooo good! Also great seating options and lovely employees. What a gem of a spot.

I paid $23 for what can only be described as a French Dip-inspired bread exhibit. Somewhere—theoretically—there were about two ounces of brisket, hiding like it was in witness protection. The bread, however, showed up loud and proud: one aggressively thick slab, accompanied by an avalanche of onions and sauce that completely overwhelmed the concept of “meat.”

I understand restaurants need to watch profit margins, but this wasn’t conservative—it was symbolic protein. And to add insult to injury, there was no cheese. On a French dip. A sandwich that is traditionally meaty, cheesy, and indulgent, not a $23 carb-forward performance piece.

If I wanted a saucy onion loaf with a whisper of brisket, I’d have ordered it that way. This was disappointing, confusing, and frankly impressive in how little protein managed to cost so much money.

Classic sandwich expectations were not just unmet—they were actively avoided.
