They first did not want to seat me because in a half hour all tables would be full of reservations when I left after slowest meal two hours later there dozens of tables some still had dishes and needed be cleaned off easier was slow took hour to get food never got refill asked for on my soda and never got then over half hour to get bill will come again the food was excellent

It's been there twice before and the food was great. I've experienced some of the best Mexican food there is, so I'm a bit of a snob. This time however the menu had been changed. The salsa had ABSOLUTELY no heat, The fish tacos were ok, but the queso birria was inedible. About three times as salty as it should be. The reason I'm giving it five stars only because of our server, Karim. He brought us jalapenos toreados, so we could have some spice, he tried to take the blame for recommending the queso birria, but I wouldn't allow it. He asked if he could remove the charge. I Said it wasn't necessary, but he did it anyway. I will probably give them another chance, but definitely will call first to see if they've fixed the menu.

Baja fish tacos got me to come back! Maybe a few dollars more than the faster chains, but the dining room, lounge and outdoor areas are way nicer. Beans were a bit watery this time, but plenty of food for me. I used the juice to power up the rice. Chips are fresh and not greasy. Salsa is very mild and good flavor. This a very pleasant place to relax for a delicious meal.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Hacienda Colorado while celebrating my father’s 80th birthday in early March 2026.
I made a reservation for 12 people two weeks in advance and specifically requested the chocolate piñata dessert. I was assured at that time it would be available. Upon arrival, we reminded our server again and were reassured a second time.
After our entire party had finished dinner, we were informed by the manager, Crystal, that the chocolate piñata was not available after all. This was incredibly disappointing, as it was the main reason we chose this restaurant. I had previously had a wonderful experience and wanted to share that with my family on a very special occasion.
While Crystal did bring out a plate of fruit and two slices of cake, it did not make up for the lack of communication and failure to deliver on what was promised—especially for such an important celebration.
I chose not to make a scene during the dinner out of respect for my father’s birthday, but I followed up afterward with two phone calls and an email and have yet to receive any response.
Hacienda Colorado, this level of service and lack of follow-up is unacceptable. I hope you take this feedback seriously and do better in the future.
