Food was good but the service was really slow. Nice spot though

Absolutely the worst Mexican food I ever had. The food was old, cold, and frankly speaking, sketchy. I am now driving home and hopefully will not have to stop by ER as I had steak (or partially ate it) that was prepared in 1988 and served today. Tacos were equally nasty with microwaved chickn and Costco value pack shell. First and the last time as this place.

I’ve been a loyal customer here for a long time, coming almost every week, and usually enjoy the food and atmosphere. But on my recent visit I was very disappointed. There’s a large sign in front of the restaurant advertising Happy Hour, but it doesn’t mention that it now only applies at the bar. In the past, Happy Hour was available throughout the restaurant, so the current sign is misleading.

When I brought this up to the reception they showed no concern and didn’t seem to care about the confusion. That was even more disappointing than the change itself. Clear communication and a little consideration would go a long way in keeping loyal customers like me happy.

Incredibly disappointing experience. We came for happy hour, found out happy hour is only at the bar after we received our check and said our drinks should be at the happy hour price. Were rudely told happy hour is only at the bar. Would have been helpful if we were told that from the beginning or it was labeled anywhere.

Service is incredibly slow. Food is bland and expensive. The table made guacamole is supposed to be in a molcajete, is instead served on a plate. Pork tamales were ground beef, which doesn’t make any sense.

All in all, would avoid this restaurant at all costs.

This place has always been a favorite for my family for years but it is not the same. Menu has changed. Food is still great but prices have gone up and it appears that service is really struggling.

We arrived 10 minutes late for our dinner reservation. Tried to call twice on the way but no answer. We had to wait nearly 15 minutes just to check in. Hostess was also serving tables. By the time she came to us, it was now nearly 30 minutes past and we were told we were too late for our reservation. We had to wait 20 more minutes for a table. There were a lot of diners waiting. That felt normal for a Saturday night and I wasn't worried about waiting. We had a drink at the bar. My name was called (which was not pronounced correctly so it was confusing). I go up to the hostess and she said she would be with me in a few minutes. ???

When she realized I was the name she had called, she apologized and led us to a table.

There were a lot of diners waiting to be seated but the dining room looked to only be about a third to half full at most. There were a lot of empty tables.

Our waiter was nice but we were slow to be greated, served and checked on. Also felt ignored when trying to get someones attention. Hostess was still serving as well as the wait staff.

Obviously shorthanded and it feels telling that this place is not what it used to be.

Hacienda use to be a wonderful restaurant. I’ve grown up going there for years. There was a huge change after they sold out to a restaurant investment firm. I went back once recently for nostalgia, but I was extremely disappointed. I came back again because some friends wanted to eat there and thought I’d give it one more chance. Turns out nothings changed and it’s bland food. It use to have a great southwest Colorado Mexican flavor to it, but now it’s just corporate run bland food. Sad to see a local restaurant die like this.

This place sure has gone down hill since they sold. What is with needing a reservation every time we dine? Its not required, but it used to be you all had enough wait staff on hand for 25% capacity

A few things we always believed when we were going to Hacienda. The quality of the food, drinks and service never disappointed. We used to go at least once a week but hadn't been there for almost six months. Went last Saturday. Watered-down drinks, bland food and hardly anyone there. So disappointing. It won't be there long.

First time ever coming here and disappointed in almost every way. For how much advertising I hear and see about Hacienda, I would have atleast expected a little better than what I got. Chile con quest was half a cup serving considering the large price tag. I ordered the crab and shrimp pablano plate and when it arrived EVENTUALLY, it looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile since the beans were crusted over. The pablano still had atleast a tablespoon of seeds still inside so I had to scrape out the pablano first to eat it to avoid the seeds. My husband ordered the shrimp fajitas and when it came, no sizzling of the skillet and his corn tortillas were cold. We had to ask for fresh warm ones. It is just sad for the price of each plate, I definitely expected more and better. Sadly the first time coming here and we won't come back. Don't waste your money.

Food could taste better. Even the spicy salsa tasted sweet. Ambience and service was good.

Steak fajitas were salty not savory. The staff person making the table side guacamole was far from enthusiastic.

On the plus side, the restaurant was huge and very chic.
