Good food... good service can't beat it!

This Lazy Dog location is an anomaly. Usually I really like Lazy Dog’s but this one has poor service and the food is pretty meh. I have given this location and the one off of I-25 a bit more south multiple tries and the one on I-25 is much much better in terms of both service and food. I recommend passing on this and driving another 15min south for the better one.

We love the ambiance and service is good but the food we had was for sure the worst quality brunch we have ever encountered. Truly bad food. All the dishes had what appeared to be store bought fried hash browns. Looked and tasted exactly like Ora ida… the cheap ones from the grocery store. All the dishes (we tried 5!) all had just tons of sauces on them, seemingly to cover up the quality of the food. We won’t be making this mistake again.

Great food, terrific service

Staff was pleasant and responsive. Checked up on us regularly to ensure that we were okay but it wasn’t over burdening.

We placed an order for 2 hamburgers without the bun and no sides. The burger was cold, the lettuce wimpy, the avocado was rotten and went in the trash. The total came to $36. No reduction for no sides and staff was rude. I don’t write reviews but this meal was exceptionally bad. I wish I could post a photo. It tells the tale.

Sweet potato fries were a little on the burnt side. Bit ok. The wings ok for being a bar. Great service, OKthough.

I've eaten here about a dozen times over the last few years and it just seems the food continues to get worse unfortunately. The portions are fairly small which is fine but the price is ridiculous. The other Lazy Dog in The Orchard is same price with much much much better food and a wider variety. I do admit the staff here is great but it only goes so far when a burger+fries+one beer is $40.

The food tasted fine but in my opinion was overpriced for the amount of food that you get. The chicken pot pie in particular is tiny

Food wasn't bad - pretty typical bar food. Service was bad. Took several minutes to even be noticed by anybody, and that was just to get water. Took several more minutes to order drinks and food. All the wait staff and bartender only seem to care about the regulars that surrounded the bar. Had to go to the bar to get a 2nd drink and food took a awhile to come and was ok.
Overall I am sure it is nice for the locals, but I probably won't be back.

Ratings are so confusing - what does a 5* rating mean? Since there is never something that qualifies this, my 4* means everything is as expected and I didn't have any issues - i.e. I enjoyed myself. But it definitely is not 5* food - comparable to the Ritz Carlton? Nope!

I will say that Lazy Dog has been very good about accommodating our requests to eat on the patio and away from people. I still take COVID precautions. Thank you!
