Avant Garde Aleworks is a fantastic brewery with knowledgeable beer tenders and a dog-friendly atmosphere. This locally-owned craft brewery specializes in European style beers and has a number of rotating beers on tap. The Black IPA and West Coast IPA are fabulous, but the rose' steals the show. The spacious outdoor patio is amazing for nice weather days, offering great views of Rocky Mountain Park. Customers can bring in outside food, as food trucks regularly stop by, including the popular Mangia Mangia food truck. The staff is friendly and helps with recommendations, making it a chill place to hang out. Avant Garde Aleworks is located about a mile from the busy downtown area, providing easier parking and a more relaxed visit. The venue also hosts movie nights and live events, adding to its cool vibe. For those who can't stay, they offer canned beers to-go.
