As many others have said, great staff, great food, great prices, unique spot. We stop every time we're in the area. For a place to have all of these features is a rare find, especially right outside of a National Park.

I loved coming here for drive thru. But for the first time when I entered and witnessed a person in the kitchen rubbing their eye as they were putting on their apron, and another person in the kitchen (who did not seem to be kitchen staff at the time) rub their entire face, mustache and beard with their hand right above the cooking station, I got my doubts on the hygiene of this establishment. This happened in the span of the minute of me ordering food for dine in. Indoors hasn’t really been updated since 1990. Mostly a cheap lipstick on the old furniture and decor. Food is better than fast food, but worse than a $20/30 fancy dine in burger. Affordable still. But the lack of hygiene scared me off.
Food was very delicious! The burgers were made to order and were very satisfying! The staff were very friendly. Will definitely visit again when I’m in Estes.

Wonderfully quaint and friendly staff! Delicious elk burgers! My first time to have elk and I was pleasantly surprised how mild the meat is.
