I freaking love this place.... But the new menu is absolutely horrible. They took away the old burgers and I'm no graphic designer, but this layout, font, space, justification, etc is the absolute worst Ive ever seen. Was some one trying to create a horrible menu to be different? If so, well done!

This is your low life local dive bar a place where you can spot the dregs of Evergreen I was warned about the place a long time ago. I went in a week ago and after mentioning it to a friend he dialed up some one who works in there and lets just say what I was told about the food has me never going back for any reason. I personally didn't witness anything I heard or hope I didn't but you can get serious illness here

First things first, I did a LOT OF EYE HUSTLING other people's food here... everything looked freaking amazing! Live music, colorful decor, cozy bar. Exactly what I pictured a mountain bar to be. Quirky with fabulous food and entertainment. Prices might be a little higher, the quality of food and establishment is worth the investment. Their red chili has won 4 competitions And the green chili has won 2, I ordered both obviiiiii The red is meat on meat w a few beans... perfection in my opinion. Seasoned and hearty. The green is also amazing! The best part is the grilled tortillas! Nice touch. Both chilis are out of this world. Check your bingo card for mountain watering hole... this is it.

If you're up in Evergreen, I highly recommend you give this place a try. Great pitstop for a cold beer and a nice burger atmosphere is awesome. It's an old-school saloon bar with great customer service. My waitress was amazing and super friendly. They also have a dog friendly back patio that overlooks a creek, which also has a stage for a live band for the summers. If you're in the area or want to get away from DENVER, I definitely would give these guys a try. The burger was amazing and the cheese curds were also awesome.

Last Wednesday evening, we had a large group of coworkers visit this restaurant after a day of ice fishing. We immediately went up onto the stage to reserve tables, as that was the only area large enough to facilitate our group. I did not catch the name of our server, but she was heinously rude to our group. She wore a smile, but she "conveniently" forget several parts of our order, though managed to eventually get it to us. In addition, she loudly proclaimed to one of our coworkers, "I need you to dial it in. I know you're drunk, but you need to reign it in." As I stated, we had been fishing all day, but this individual was in no way, shape or form intoxicated. He simply has a fun-loving, jovial personality. Her making her intoxication comment loud enough for nearby patrons to hear was the height of unprofessionalism. This was my first visit to your establishment, and it was also my last. I'm sure your staff are properly trained to identify the signs of intoxication in your guests, but this particular server absolutely needs 100% remedial training.

Came here last weekend (1/20) with my hubby and cousins after visiting Evergreen Lake. This place is lively! They've got big TVs to watch the games, a fireplace, board games, and friendly staff. Let me not forget to mention how good the food and drinks were! I ordered the diner burger, and a cranberry mule. I've never had a cranberry mule before, and it was yummy! We were very pleased with our visit.

I'm not a tater-tot connoisseur or anything like that, but MANNNN the tater-tots here smack. No-lie came back from ice skating on a Saturday afternoon and probably the best taters I've ever had (bold statement I know)

I've been coming here many years. I get their fried chicken wings a couple times a month - so crispy!! Great sauce variety. The wraps are so good. I love to get the green or red chili on a chili day. They always have a fun event going on and I come here when I want to hear live music or just be around others. Nice vibe and atmosphere. Fun pool table and great creekside seating and fire pits. Can't go wrong stopping here anytime of year. I often walk my dog around the lake and then sit by the creek for a drink or snack after. The Long Island iced teas don't disappoint! The staff are all so friendly and work very hard. No matter how busy it gets they're prompt and attentive. Very grateful to have cactus jacks in our small town.

They were severely understaffed and disorganized. We were told to sit wherever but there was no clean tables so we ended up sitting at a dirty table which we just cleaned ourselves with napkins. One person give us menus another person took our order and then while we were waiting for the food 3 more times we were given menus and kept politely telling them "sorry we already ordered" we waited about 20-30 min for food and then we over heard servers tell other servers to tell anyone coming in they are not going to serve anymore food, drinks only. We did end up getting our food and tipped generously to the staff because it's not their fault the place is a disaster they looked like they were all doing their best but new management/ownership seems like it is needed. This was a Saturday too btw so it was PACKED!

Came to watch the CU/USC game today! The mimosas are made with fresh oranges--so yummy! Got the chicken tenders, onion rings, and mac/cheese, and all were delicious!! Order with the honey-mustard sauce--so good!! Best of all the TV is HUGE and the sound system is great!! The atmosphere is festive and fun, and the bar tender--Charm--made our experience especially great as she recommended food items and was overall just a wonderful part of our experience!!

The service was terrible. Waitress couldn't take an order because the kitchen was backed up. The food was terrible. It felt dirty and the wine glass had someone else's lip prints on it. I won't be returning.

We waited 30 minutes for table and another 30 minutes before we could order because they were "backed up" Had to eat self-serve popcorn to keep from starving. Burger was over- cooked and the wings awful. No manager could be seen anywhere. if you cant run a restaurant -don't try
