A couple of weeks ago I was looking for a cozy coffee shop where I could sit on a couch, relax, and get out of my apartment for a bit. Muddy Buck Coffee ended up being exactly what I was looking for.
Located in Evergreen, it has a charming, cabin-style feel that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. The couches are comfortable, the space feels warm and inviting, and it’s the kind of place where you can read, play games, or just enjoy a slow morning.
The coffee was very good, and the pastries were warm and soft, but the standout for me was their chocolate chip walnut cookie. Gooey, perfectly baked, and honestly worth a visit on its own.
A great spot if you’re looking for a relaxed, homey coffee shop with good drinks and excellent baked goods.

January 6, 2024 went on a little day trip to Evergreen Colorado and stopped at Muddy Buck Coffee House for some breakfast! Then after I went to Dedisse Park and walked to Evergreen Lake! Great vibe, energy, food, coffee

Don’t have any cute pictures like the other posts but I just want to say this place is a gem! Cute, cozy, friendly with excellent coffee and food that is made in house! The cinnamon rolls are a must and the salads and sandwiches are superb!!! What a treat in the cute little town of Evergreen!

Fantastic Latte's and Chai! I enjoyed both of mine over a few days time and both times they were fantastic. Step inside for some games or just enjoy the atmosphere. The wall in the back has some real history and they aren't afraid to show where the building came from. Amazing people and community here!

I was soo looking forward to a warm fresh cinnamon bun. I ordered a hot cinnamon bun and coffee. I got a cold stale cinnamon bun. Very disappointing
8/11/24Absolutely love the rustic vibes and that they offer a variety of coffee syrups however the toffee nut latte just didn’t taste right-even after asking for an adjustment. The cinnamon roll was really disappointing after reading so many good reviews about it.. it looked a lot better in other photos.
11/19/25Second attempt with a pumpkin spice latte, shot of espresso is not good and the milk isn’t frothed correctly. Still love the atmosphere here

Traditional macchiato featured delicious espresso shots sourced from Papuan beans. Rich, smooth, and nutty. They roast their own beans here, and the freshness is evident!
Friendly baristas. The atmosphere is so cool! Can only imagine the history of the Evergreen Hotel lobby here on this site.
Only thing I didn’t like was the house flies. Maybe it’s the season, but always annoying and concerning in a food/beverage establishment.
