Amazing Tacos

Jason Vranek

Great place. Get a family vibe which is nice. I’ve been told the recipe from the old whipple tree, green chili is still used, and I wasn’t disappointed. Great green chili, where it’s not too spicy but super flavorful. Great poached eggs on the bennys. Price point is terrific too, for location, quality of food.

Great spot for breakfast, Lunch or dinner Right now they have a summer special for $5 margaritas which helped us wash down the amazing birria tacos.

After a long ride and finish down Juniper Pass, La Cantina in Evergreen was the perfect reward, offering an incredibly satisfying end to the day. The birria tacos were hands-down the best I've ever had, bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. Coupled with truly impeccable service, this spot delivers a fantastic dining experience.

So sad. Parkside closed and it’s now Cantina or something and not open much. Drove about 20 miles to eat at Parkside and it was closed.
Edit- now only open for breakfast on Sat and Sunday. Went in evening and menu now only Mexican American.

We had a great first experience here. The grilled romaine salad with chicken was fresh and healthy tasting while still being delicious. And my son really liked the chicken enchiladas. The patio is spacious with beautiful Evergreen ambience and the traffic noise is minimal. I'm looking forward to trying more things on their menu and so glad we have a great Mexican restaurant in Evergreen.

La Cantina is one of the few Mexican restaurants we love for dinner out! The food is excellent while still being reasonably priced. Family favorites are shredded beef birra tacos, seared ahi tuna tacos, blackened shrimp tacos, anything made with green chile, and the fresh homemade salsa. We also enjoy the $5 margarita summer special on their big mountain air patio.

Standard Mexican food. Nothing outstanding. Not authentic.

My daughter’s pancakes were five star for sure. My Salmon Benedict was good but not quite five star. My wife’s cinnamon roll was five star but her over medium eggs were a little on the hard side. Overall very happy with the food and we will definately be back. The service and atmosphere were top notch.

Due to price these evergreen locals will not come back. We have eaten at similar places recently for almost half the price, and in the mountains too. I feel bad for restaurants these days.

I'm a 60 year old single woman living in my car and my battery was dead. No way to get heat, or use a restroom in Bergen Park. It snowed last night I was freezing, so went over here to try & warm up. I was asked to leave.
