The price on the menu is well worth it.

Subpar Italian fare inc. my wife’s entree which had to be sent back due to questionable seafood. Restaurant is dark and dingy feeling - a dive bar feel. Server was great but doesn’t make up for uninspired, seemingly canned Italian.

Crabcakes were disgusting and the risotto was super stiff. Risotto should be made fresh creamy and walk across the plate.

My daughters and I took a scenic trip to the mountains and needed a place to stop for dinner. We love Italian and this one obviously had good reviews so we made the trip to Evergreen.

Upon entering, we received smug looks from a couple waiting to be seated as well as plenty the staff who came to the front. It was clear that we were not their target audience (people were dressed nicely, there was a wedding party in a private room, and we were out exploring the mountains).

For a Saturday evening, I was expecting a longer wait time when asked "I'm sorry, do you have a reservation?" A 10-15 minute wait is what we were told. When we were finally seated, our waitress greeted us warmly and throughout our meal, we were made to feel welcome by her. She told me that she also had two daughters and that our girls night was adorable.

The food was absolutely delicious, but when we had asked for cheese for my daughter's noodles, they brought out a sauce and we thought that was strange instead of Parmesan. I also overheard them telling a lady that the cheese was in the kitchen, and maybe they could cut a piece off. Our meals had shredded cheese on top, so this made me curious.

We were offered dessert, which we gladly accepted. My daughters did not want to share, typical, and because they were extremely well behaved, I opted to get them their own.

Upon our table being cleared I was told by one of the girls who kept eyeing us "I've never seen a kid not finish their dessert." And "my sister and I never had a choice of sharing. We were told to share or get nothing."

I would have given this place 5-stars, but some of their staff (minus our lovely waitress ❤️) should be less judgemental.

We had dinner seated in a booth by the window downstairs and really enjoyed the view of the pond and pathway. I had Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine and my husband had Meat Lasagna. The flatbread served before the meal was delicious! Our server was friendly. You can come casually dressed if you want to. It seems like a family friendly place also.

Kid-friendliness: There was a family seated across from us enjoying their meal.

This is the BEST homemade comfort food you’ll find! Her flavors are always so inventive and even unexpected and their presentation is simple and totally impressive (think—serve to guests!) I literally cannot get enough of her granola. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend starting an online order!

First time takeout order. Two fettuccine and one pesto tortellini. They forgot the side salad, however, I thought it was the pesto tortellini they forgot because it came in the side salad box. Very disappointing. I called and was offered an apology but the tortellini is smaller than what i’d expect for an appetizer. I added artichoke and sun dried tomatoes (paid extra..expected ), but my pasta amount was reduced to accommodate the additions I paid extra for. Regardless of the taste, we will not be back.

If rick or christi aren’t there it doesn’t run very well. Last two times I stopped for lunch the servers brought the wrong order and when they tried to correct it, it was worse. I left both times.

Host was so sweet! Atmosphere feels cozy. But the food all tasted like microwave and from jars of sauce. We got pasta and it was Drenched in sauce, almost like a soup. The soup that came with it had the chicken that you find in frozen meals… super over rated and over priced!!

I really love this place. Sometimes, I hate leaving positive reviews because everyone bombards the place, and it goes downhill, but this place is so good. I just have to share.
The LASAGNA is out of this world.
Highly recommended.
