As a local I know how difficult it can be to eat out during the Holidays in a small town like Fairplay. In response to the reviewer who accused the folks at Salado of being racist - I was sitting next to your VERY large group that showed up without a reservation (during a holiday week). If you’re visiting or just driving through Fairplay, you better stop here! Wifey had the kale salad and it was fresh, crunchy, and tasted great. I had the Santa Fe burger with a side of fries and ranch to dip the fries in. AMAZING! The burger was fresh, cooked perfectly, and tasted great. The battered fries are to die for!
