I recently moved to Penrose. I come here whenever I can for breakfast. I'm an early riser and love that breakfast starts at 7am. They have the best bacon I've ever had. My favorite server is Anna, she's always a friendly face and she recognizes me and knows what I like to drink. The food is very reasonably priced.

Passable if you are short on time and don't want to drive to the Kopper Kettle in Florence. Our omelets were good, but the hashbrowns were super dry. We've had lunch there as well. Overall, the food is edible, but nothing to crave or anything. The dessert case looked amazing. Maybe we need to try that instead.
For breakfast, do yourself a favor and make the drive to the Kopper Kettle in Florence. It's so much better.

Breakfast was not good !! Please take some pride in your end product The hashbrowns were absolutely terrible, eggs were ok.. Toast wasn't even toasted... the sausage gravy had very little flavor The breakfast burrito was sub par... You will never make it at this location... Your going to loose money and close I promise... It's hashbrowns buy the best you can get.... You will still have a super low food cost ! I wish you luck... I'll never be back.... I'll make a 50 times better breakfast at home for 1/5th the price......

Love this place!!! Get very busy for Sunday breakfast. The people are amazing and kind.
If you are a local, I am sure you know how good the food is. If you ever are just passing through Penrose, Co it's worth a short detour for a good meal. I had the daily special which was a half pound smashburger with my choice sides. I got real mashed potatoes with gravy.
