The restaurant has moved to Penrose. We traveled from Canon City for the lunch special, posted on Facebook. It was before 1pm and they were already out of the special. The food we got was good but when you have a taste for something it makes it disappointing! Maybe call ahead.

It was an OK experience. Can't mess up breakfast. What I am most displeased about in a restaurant is when you go in and eat and as soon as you get your food they give you your check and expect you to leave, and then the wait person never comes back to check on you for refills or if you would like anything more. They also added a 3.99% fee to the bill for credit card but couldn't take cash because the power was out and couldn't make change. The only way I could pay was ccard.

I called in for a carry out order. A BLT with potato salad and a Reuben sandwich with onion rings. When I get to the restaurant I was asked if I wanted thousand island dressing on my Reuben sandwich?????? Of course I want thousand island dressing on it. It would just be a corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut without it. The dressing was given on the side, it was bland and off putting, good thing they didn’t put it on my tasteless sandwich, with way too much butter on the bread. The BLT was not on Texas toast as advertised and the potato salad was uncooked (hard potatoes) and under seasoned. I definitely won’t be calling here again. $27 for retirement home food.

Good Breakfast! Sometimes slammed and sometimes not! Haven't eaten lunch here. The only thing I could submit is when 1 orders to-go, don't out crunchy toast on with hot foods as it becomes doughy and soggy...

Terrible experience. Unprofessional staff, poor service and awful food. Waitresses were insulting and demoralizing each other to the customers- made us feel uncomfortable to say the least listening to the bickering. Service poor- waited 20 minutes to get our drinks, cold coffee (we ordered hot) . When food finally arrived it was subpar- burnt bacon overcooked eggs and sour biscuits and gravy. To add insult to injury they overcharged us $10- They added $54 food+$6 tax and somehow got a sum of $70, that said double check your bill. DO NOT recommend this place.

Good diner food for a quick meal. It's all the typical diner food for breakfast with bacon eggs hashbrowns and toast. Good service, quick for the food to hit the table. Great experience and we will hit them up for breakfast in the future for trips to the area.

Food was really solid, service was fine, new location is cool. Just feel like inflation prices are too much sometimes..
