I recently discovered Papa's Italian restaurant in Florence, Colorado for a late lunch, and what a delightful find it was!

π Delicious Italian Cuisine π While I enjoyed a late lunch here, the timing was perfect as we got to experience their authentic Italian offerings without the dinner rush. The food had that homemade quality that truly sets family restaurants apart.
β¨ Spotless Facilities β¨ I was particularly impressed by how clean the bathrooms were - always a good sign of a well-maintained establishment that cares about every detail of the customer experience.

There aren't any roaches because even they won't eat there I threw up from the wings we had to go grab our own menus because we were sitting at the table for like 15 minutes and still have not got service but other than that it was good?

Pizza not up to their standards, very little sauce, dull. Sandwich to go, was the worst I have ever had. The bread was toasted to the point it was dry. The lettuce, which the sandwich was stuffed with, was wilted. There was a minimal amount of meat inside. One slice of very thin Canadian bacon and 3 paper thin pieces of pepperoni. Will not be going to this place again! Very disappointed. And this was the second chance we gave them. Sad

We were in a last minute situation for needing a large order of pizzas. We called papas to get 30 pizzas and they took care of it with no problem. They were respectful, Everyone loved them. They saved the day!!
I used to like their pizza and lot but it's not as good as it used to be, most times it's way over cooked.

I really really want to like this place. It's a small business and close-ish to me. But every single time I make an order, something is wrong once I get it. It doesn't matter if I call in the order, place it online through door dash pickup, through Slice, or stand there and order in person, it's always wrong. And not something small like they forgot napkins. Christmas eve ordering for take out was the last time for Papas. The kids said, Why is it always something with this place when our pizza toppings and canzone filling was wrong and the calzones were so tiny compared to what they use to be. I don't know why the staff has such an issue. The dough is good and the guy who makes it is a nice guy.

Such a great surprise! We were in canyon city to see the royal gorge and found this gem! Such good flavor, pizza and service. Highly recommend ! They Also have gluten free crust as an option.
My husband and I like to shop in Florence, we stopped here for lunch and we were really glad we did!! Best pizza I've had in a loooong time. Thier special was a slice and side salad....we were really impressed, huge slice of pizza and huge side salad,blue cheese, crumbles and great service. Will return this weekend for more .

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive! We were seated immediately with no wait time, which was a pleasant surprise. Everyone made us feel welcome, as if we were part of their extended family.
