Stop by to have lunch with eight other people. Everyone enjoyed their food. The bison burger was great and so were the regular burgers. The fries were good. Good place to have drinks and food. The people are friendly and the service was good.
The Thunderbird Inn is a must go-to spot if you’re passing through or a townie looking for colorful evening. I come here a couple times a year when I stay out at our property and have always enjoyed hanging out, grabbing a bite, and maybe having a couple beers. Most items on the menu are deep-fried so if you’re a health nut, you’ll have better luck grazing with the horses in the field across the street. As I pulled into the parking lot the air around me started to shimmer and swirl. I wasn't sure what was happening. I got out of the car and I felt like I stepped through a time portal. This has to be one of the coolest roadhouses I have ever been in. The pictures on the walls tell a story. The people are the bar telling stories tell a story.
