Honestly this is the best DFAC on Ft Carson, i live in the 4CAB barracks right next to the Warfighter DFAC but i will always make the trip out to the Wolf DFAC bc even the to-go section is better, basically all the food you want and the food is really pretty good for DFAC.

There are a lot of food options for Soldiers to select from. Wolf Ivy Warrior Restaurant offers self service and extra protein (fish, chicken, shrimp, etc.) upon request. Soldiers and patrons can ask for more food. I eat there every day when I am at Fort Carson, and I recommend for other leaders at all echelon to dine there at least two meals a week. DA civilians, family members and others are welcome to dine there as well.

They added a WONDERFUL grab and go at this DFAC. I love it. So much easier than waiting in line. Just grab a sandwich and a salad and a drink and head out. The selection isn't as good as the real DFAC, but it's always good enough to get by and it's worth skipping the hassle inside.
i wish the soldiers working there were a bit more friendly and inviting, cuz sometimes I feel like a bother just by walking in. IDK tho, maybe that's in my head LOL. But other than that, I gotta say, I'm glad they have this grab and go at Wolf DFAC. I hope they keep the grab and go open forever.

Food is regularly terrible, coffee/creamer is usually out-of stock, staff don't give a shit.
Among the better CONUS DFACs. Ate lunch twice there for $7. Had chicken both time. Received a chicken breast, and either a drumstick or half leg quarter (different each time). Chicken was cooked through and moist (already above and beyond expectations).
Veggies bar day 1 was very limited in stock, but all fresh and unwilted. Day 2 had more options.
Desserts: different desserts both days, but if you are eating here you probably should not be eating dessert at lunch unless you are on ABCP for being underweight.
Drink station had cows milk, unsweetened ice tea, and flavored waters (about half soda calories, so not diet like you find in korea) Silk machine (flavored soy milk) was inoperable both days. Could not find plain water dispenser. There is an ice machine, but I suggest not using it (read about fast food ice machine + fecal particles for why)
Ample seating, and clean, no obnoxious media playing (Fox if liberal, CNN if Conservative)
Pros: good food, inexpensive, clean.
Cons: no calcium option for lactose intolerant/vegan Soldiers, limited low calorie beverage choice. No protein rich entree for vegetarian/vegan Soldiers.
Vegetarian options: Very limited vegetarian options for a full meal. Suggest eating as much spinach as you can stomach for the protein.
Dietary restrictions: Not vegetarian, vegan, or lactose intolerant friendly.
Kid-friendliness: Suggest not bringing children around primarily junior enlisted Soldiers.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, counter height is low, may have trouble reading some placards for food.

Disgusted by how soldiers are fed. Portions given are terrible. YOU’RE feeding grown men and women who serve and protect this country and you can’t even have the common decency to actually give out a proper amount of food? Food ends up either being undercooked or overcooked. Never actually cooked how it should be. Keep taking money out my check just to get my taste buds violated by the horrible food. Now they have the audacity to charge people whose MEC to CAC is expired and when it is “fixed” the computer systems are so trash that it still ends up being considered expired anyway. What a joke, how is it I go to Kentucky (not even stationed there) get better quality food from civilian workers then I do on the actual base I’m stationed at? Get it together. This goes for all the dfacs not just Wolf Dfac.

This place is creepy bruh, they got zombies walking around and the touch screen coffee machine is either full of waste so you cant use it, or it shoots out water instead of mocha.

Horrible portion sizes gave me a tiny little pork chop. I need a actual meal and I'm forced to pay $400 a month for this, pretty sad you don't have a choice
