Drinks tasted pretty watered down if not just lackluster. Cool idea, especially mixing the drinks on an ironing board next to the hotels checkin counter, but just not good. Combined with the fact that it’s next door to a delicious coffee/breakfast/cocktail spot, I just don’t see why it’s here. Both takes away a lobby from the hotel, and creates an uncomfortable dining experience. I suppose I could see the patio being an alluring part of this other times of year.

Probably the worst avocado toast I’ve ever had. Not sure what we are doing, but nothing about it was good. The salad on the side was really the only thing that I enjoyed. It was also a ridiculously high bill at $70 for two people. Don’t recommend.Service was great.

My son, who lived in Ft Collins awhile ago, recommended I stay here for the sake of convenient location. What surprised me most was the elegant beauty of the place for such a reasonable price. In addition, I was able to walk to every other location on my agenda, except one. I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone....thank you!

Love staying at the Armstrong—from the super high quality beds and pillows, the unique decor and aesthetic, the location in the heart of downtown Ft. Collins to the on-site coffee and grub at Mugs and Ace Gillette’s. Will never stay anywhere else in Ft. Collins if I can help it!

I love The Armstrong Hotel. The location is unbeatable. The staff is not just friendly but competent. Cocktails in Ace Gillet's Lounge are awesome. Danny is a great bartender. The rooms are just the right size, the beds are super comfortable. Great value, too.

We were in town for our dog to have heart surgery at CSU. They recommended The Armstrong among several other hotels. We chose the Armstrong and so glad we did. Perfect location - walking distance to everything and super close to the vet hospital at CSU. Cozy lobby. Super friendly staff. Welcoming to our dog. The King room was a little tight for my husband and I and our dog, but that's our fault for not booking the bigger room. They have laundry onsite which was great and coffee shop next door!

The Armstrong Hotel was a perfect fit for our anniversary staycation. It has great atmosphere, service and is in a fun location! We loved getting drinks at Ace Gillett's Lounge and being walking distance to fun shops and other dining.

No better location to stay when in Fort Collins. Lovely little hotel with great staff and super comfortable beds and pillows. Some quirks as it's an older building, but it's always a great stay. I like that checkout is at 11, too, so you don't have to rush your morning to get out of the room.

This 100 year old hotel has preserved its charm while updating with all the modern conveniences. The location is the absolute best, and the service was outstanding. The five days I spent at The Armstrong were most enjoyable.
The bedding is top notch, the staff is friendly and accommodating of all unusual requests and made my husbands birthday just a bit more special. We learned about the portraits and the 24 hr cold brew machine

Perfect neighborhood gem…. We stayed in the corner pup suite last weekend. Staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional. We enjoyed hanging out in the lobby with our pups while having drinks and dinner

Terrible Service... waited 25 mins to get water & drinks...not busy just incompetent server. Had reservations for Austin Grille but since I stayed at Armstrong Hotel got an email invite for brunch and thought why not? Holy Hell could not have been worse. When late food arrived of course it was cold. Never Ever Again. Shouldn't bother offering brunch. Waste of time and effort...

Mediocre food and service. I've tried this place before and was hoping for a different experience. Overpriced and underdelivered.

Came here for brunch one quiet morning and boy was it quiet. The inside seating is a bit odd as you’re right outside the elevator and front desk so you’re watching and listening to everyone checking out. This is a much better spot for summertime on the patio! The we drinks were good, and I liked my Bloody Mary because it came with a lot of great edible garnish. The eggs Benedict was pretty good, but I think the hollandaise sauce lacked some pretty essential flavors. Would have loved some more tang to it, but instead just got a real buttery consistency and flavor. We got two Benedict’s, one was the crab cake which was pretty good and the other was a more traditional. Started the meal with some breakfast tater tots and you can never go wrong with those! We chose to not have them loaded up like they normally come, but I’m sure those are good. The ambiance was really not there, so we’re going to have to try this spot again when we can enjoy the patio. I posted a video of the wind when we were there—that’s why we chose to sit inside !
