Get there early as there are only around 10 seats at the bar but this Happy Hour is so outstanding you want to work your way through all the items -- how about a Margherita Pizza for $7! Or a Dry-Aged Cheeseburger Platter with Fries for $12! Or Truffle Fries as a great snack with a cocktail for $5! And on top of that last night (11-14-22) I had the best Prosciutto I've had in years as part of an Antipasti and if I'd gotten that alone it would have been just $5!!! The place is lovely and the staff are all very gracious and hospitable -- this Happy Hour gets my 5 stars!!!”

For sweets I got the mango ice cream with kulfi pistachio 🤤. I sampled a few and they were all great 😊🤤🤤🤤 not sure what the other comments are talking about everything delicious and unique such a great way to highlight their culture. Everything Very clean the atmosphere, hair nets, and gloves 10/10 they know what they are doing!! I will definitely be back to both the restaurant and grocery . Thank you for a great experience”

In Jan 16th we had our yearly Old Town Progressive dinner where our members go to three locations together-appetizers then a main course then for coffee. Our event organizer members showed up to our first venue and saw a sign that said “closed due to furnace issues”. It was 16 degrees out and 47 members were set to arrive in 30 minutes. The organizers started asking stores if they could host us. The second store we asked was The Welsh Rabbit. They allowed us in and we were in for a treat. Their cheezes were amazing, the ambience so pleasant and many of our members lined up to purchase items. They saved our evening. This store is an example of the heart of Fort Collins! We thank them so very much for what they did for us. Give this business a try! If you need gourmet items, dine wines and delicious cheeses for any event then why he Welsh Rabbit is where you need to visit!”

We had Miss Hailey as our server and she was excellent. We were seated immediately around 4:15pm for dinner. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant is like a rustic cabin but super clean and with superior style. The music they play in here is not too loud and a nice mix / playlist. The food, again, is phenomenal and ain’t cheap but you get more than what you pay for! Very friendly staff, excellent food, inviting atmosphere…We are completely satisfied and we shall return, Deo Volente!”

“Helene and I spent last night in Fort Collins, CO after a very long day on the road. We decided we had a yen for Indian food, and a little Internet research put Star of India in the top three Indian restaurants in town (out of six - which in itself was a little unexpected). Although we had hoped to sit and eat outside on the patio with our small dog, disappointingly the restaurant’s policy woulld not allow this, so we decided on take-out instead. The restaurant staff bent over backwards to be pleasant and helpful after our initial disappointment, the food was prepared and packed quickly, and Gideon (who I think was a supervisor) was a pleasure to deal with. Back in our hotel room, the food proved to be everything we could have hoped for. Still piping hot after a half hour in the carry out bag, every dish was aromatic and flavorful. We had lamb samosas and yellow lentil dhal as appetizers - both delicious! As entrees, Helene had Butter Chicken, and I had Chicken Tikka Tandoori with a Korma sauce. We ate them with naan bread, and again both were excellent! This was the best Indian meal I have had in at least a couple of years, and I am really glad we pushed past the initial dog policy disappointment. I would heartily recommend Star of India to anyone living in or passing through Fort Collins - and we will definitely be repeat customers.”

It didn't happen. The chilies were cooked in it. However, I asked for a hot dog cut up and mixed with the M&C, and they did that. Hubby loved his Ruben and fries. They use rice oil to fry foods. Hubby can't have soy oil; he was super happy about that”

The only thing I’m mad about is living here for 10 years and just finding this gem! The Cannoli has been in the fridge since yesterday and the shell is still hard! Cannoli cream is good! The other baked goods are really tasty, you can't go wrong with any choice really. It's more of a "grab and go" type of place but they have some seating and on occasion I have definitely sat and enjoyed a cup of coffee. The staff is also really nice and helpful.”

Mary’s Mountain Cookies also had wooden towers you could rent as a decorative piece to put your cookies on.”

“Cozzola's is my FAVORITE pizza in Fort Collins! Their crust is perfect, not too thin and not too thick. It's chewy and reheats well. I LOVE that they have cream cheese as a topping and they are generous with it, unlike a Krazy place that I know. The pizza is always ready when they say it will be. Yes, it costs a little bit more than some places, but I think it's a good value for the quality. Love it!

If you don't have food restrictions, there is no way you would be able to tell that this is a dedicated gluten free place! And it's not just that it's 100% gluten free, it's that it's an unbelievable gluten free good experience! Service was fantastic! Kris is genuinely kind and enthusiastic for you to try as many ciders and cider combos as you like. Fat Dan, the chef, is clearly passionate about why he does what he does and introduced himself to us our first day (yesterday) there. Went back today and they remembered us and we feel like it's a new home for us in town! They even give a 30% discount to anyone who works in Old Town! The environment is cozy, clean and festive. We had the French Onion fries, which were a huge portion and so, so delicious! Today we got the chicken tenders and more French onion fries. The tenders have a deceiving name because they're massive!! So flavorful, crispy, moist and tender. Do yourself a favor and try the Juicy Peach BBQ sauce! Also, a pie chai cider (50/50 Juicy Peach/Chai cider) is such a cozy, enjoyable cider. We tried many, but this was quickly my go-to. I truly hope you enjoy this gluten free gem!!”

The crew set us a first timer cheesecake. We were blown away mascarpone cheesecake over a sugar biscotti with toasted almonds a caramel sauce. Epic.

One is plenty for me unless I'm starving, then I go for two and then I'm too full and say I should have just stuck to one. LOL The lengua is the best I've ever tasted. It's so tender and delicious. It's a MUST try when you go. I've tried many different dishes and they were all fantastic. Also, the best customer service ever. Everyone is so friendly. You can't go wrong here. The food exceeded my expectations, and I didn't even get pasta. The salmon was super-tasty and tender, the garlicked broccoli done to perfection. The dinner companions, all of whom actually did get pasta, thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. I don't eat much bread, but I found myself snarfing down those tasty breadsticks.
The service. Ah, yes. Here we go. Maddy was perfect, and I don't say that lightly. She was at the table quickly after we sat down. She checked on us often enough that we knew we were being cared for, but stayed away enough to let us have uninterrupted time together. She brought a refill for me before I had my glass finished.
Maddy had a constant genuine smile and beamed a positive attitude every second she was at our table, including while unloading a dinner plate tray that was bigger than she was. When I threw out lightly snarky humor, she was quick with a friendly and funny rejoinder.
I wish we could clone Maddy for every restaurant in the country. Seriously, I'm old, and I have never had better or more enjoyable service at a restaurant.

Their food is great and their support of local artists through their block party event is fantastic. I had the privilege of meeting their owner a few years back when I was driving for Lyft and got a ride request from him when he needed to go make sure their Prospect location was locked up properly after he received notification that a door was left open. he tipped me very generously and it was genuinely a fun ride. It never surprised me that the atmosphere of MCHC had the same fun appeal whenever I ate there. I am definitely gonna visit next time I am in Fort Collins!”
