“My boyfriend and I come to this kava bar quite frequently. The drinks never disappoint and the bartenders are always amazing. Specifically Jeff, he’s become one of our favorite people to see! His service is always amazing- he’s quick with the drinks, he remembers the drinks we order every time, and he always sparks up some conversation with us! He’s great at his job and definitely one of the reasons we continue to return.“

“Every time I’ve been here it’s been pretty much solely in the year 2025. I was reading some old reviews and was surprised at how negative some of them were by calling it non-inclusive. That may have been true at one point so I won’t discredit those statements and I am a cisgender white man, but I’ve generally been in the minority every time I am there. Lots of people from across the spectrum and while there may be some bashing of people who are trying to take away some of our rights, I would hope that would be expected from a place like this. I won’t get political but figured I’d include that. Regardless, there’s never been any real hate and I’m an awkward dude and get uncomfortable when there’s any tension, and generally haven’t been any more uncomfortable than I usually am. So—for the year 2025, I’d say a lot of the previous negative reviews in 2021 just don’t apply any more or I’m missing some very dramatic days during the work week.“

“Awesome views and great employees, located on the fifth floor of the new Elizabeth Hotel in downtown FoCo. Kyle and Dan were ace.

The place serves expert cocktails in the retro style and a few small plates (honestly go downstairs to the Emporium if you want dinner, this is the place for cocktails and small bites).

Lately every time we go we see Mark Sloniker doing his jazz and blues. He's always good.“
