“Chicken fajitas VERY good with plenty of red and green peppers for a change. The enchilada dinner plate was huge and was enjoyed mucho! Taco Salad was so-so. Churros with ice cream were great, crispy and cinnamon-y, but quite tiny compared to the menu pics. The service took too long for how slow it was that night, but overall was a good experience.“

“We have been to La Luz many times over the years and everything we have tried is so tasty. All the food is great from the chile rellenos to the fish tacos, to the chicken tinga tostadas. My son loves the potato burrito and many of their breakfast items. La Luz is a Ft. Collins gem!“

“Good tacos but expensive burritos. We went two weeks in a row and four tacos ended up at $14 which is reasonable. Last time a ham quesadilla and two burritos came in at $38.25. Unfortunately I can only recommend the tacos for the cost.“

“Visited Fort Collin’s today and randomly chose to eat here as it was a convenient location. Wow!! I had a medium combo with Chili Relleno and a Chicken Taco. The menu said it was served with beans but it came with beans, rice, lettuce and tomato. 👍🏼👍🏼 The service was excellent, the food was excellent - I really enjoyed my lunch, thank you Pueblo Viejo!! I will be back on my next trip to Fort Collins. 😋🇲🇽🌮“

“My personal favorite food truck. There are a lot of Mexican food trucks on north college and I’ve had most of them over the years, but this is the one I keep coming back to simply for their carne Asada tacos and burritos. Their birria is also quite nice. Very friendly staff and food comes out decently fast every time. I WILL BE BACK“

“This place was clean and very cozy. The tacos were delicious and a good price, just a little small but still full tacos, so make sure to get a little extra. 4 tacos filled me up perfectly. We got the birria, carnitas, pastor, carne asada, and the mango fish. I think the best part of this place was their homemade salsa! It tasted like a mix of chamoy and cholula with a good kick to it. The location is also so nice- there’s a cute seating area and places surrounding it in a little area. I would love to come back in the summer and sit in the back area.“
“Food is great! And the market offers a marvelous variety of seasoned/smoke meats by the lb, large fresh bakery selection, fresh tortillas, and other favorite packaged foods from Mexico. Definitely worth a visit!“

“I ordered on doordash because I had a craving for chili cheese fries, but instead saw carne asada fries, so I gave it a shot and they ended up being amazing. I tried a couple other things just to try and I am so glad I did. By far the best birria street tacos I have had anywhere near Fort Collins, and comparable to some of the places in LA I went to growing up. I usually end up being disappointed by the Mexican food in Fort Collins, but this is the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. I'm not sure what the prices look like in store since doordash usually charges more, but even at that, spending $20 on a plate of carne asada fries changed my life and was totally worth it. I will be back.“
“I went to the CSU Lory student Center - the only Taco Bell that still has the new Shredded Beef Grill cheese dipping taco in Northern Colorado. I would order this all the time, if it wasn’t a limited menu item. Tasted great with the red dipping sauce.“

“Great place to grab a fast lunch or even dine in everyone's friendly especially the cook (kurtis) does great doesnt over cook or over season anything very enjoyable only complain is the chips at times are way to salty and cant enjoy some days but overall great place no major complaints!“

“This place has good food, really good customer service, and it's worth going to, even though it can be expensive, but I usually get a breakfast burrito in the morning, which is cheaper. The only thing I don't like about this place is the Anti Abortion protests that happen outside this place every Saturday morning, but other than that, there's not too much to complain about.“

“✨ Café Rio: The Mom’s-Day-Out Fuel I Didn’t Know I Needed ✨
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Okay, listen. I went to Café Rio with some fellow moms while picking up my daughter from a church camp, and I don’t know if it was the lack of sleep, the emotional mom high from watching her grow up too fast, or the fact that I hadn't eaten a real meal in 48 hours—but this food slapped. Like, full-on soul-hug, crying-in-the-parking-lot, “maybe I am doing okay” level delicious.
I ordered the Sweet Pork Salad because I’m a creature of habit and heard whispers of its legendary status. Y’all. The rumors are TRUE. That pork was so tender it practically apologized for every tantrum my kids have ever thrown. The rice and beans were seasoned to perfection, and don’t even get me started on the tomatillo ranch—I would drink it out of a Hydro Flask if society wouldn’t judge me.
And yes, I got queso. Because I’m a grown woman and I deserve joy.
The line was long but moved fast, like a well-oiled burrito assembly line. The staff didn’t judge me for being that person holding up the line asking for “extra extra dressing.” Bless them.
The vibes? Loud, slightly chaotic, and full of teens, toddlers, and tired parents—aka: my natural habitat.
The aftermath? I was full, happy, and dramatically texting my husband:
“WHY HAVE WE NOT BEEN EATING HERE EVERY WEEK?!”
🍼Pro Tip: If you’re a mom on a road trip, emotionally depleted from a week of solo parenting or camp pickup chaos—Café Rio is the serotonin booster you didn’t know you needed. Also, get a second dressing. Always.
Would eat again. Would cry over sweet pork again. Would 100% recommend to other exhausted, fabulous moms living off caffeine and prayer.

“Always excellent authentic Mexican food! Very reasonable prices! Not usually a wait line, but maybe every now and then you might have one or two people before you. There is sometimes a picnic table outside, otherwise it's a to go order.“

“Best place to get Mexican food. They have a restaurant in Greeley that was so popular that they were able to open one up for us in Fort Collins. I'm so glad they did. They have a huge variety of food items to choose from. My favorite is the lengua tacos. They are big and filling. One is plenty for me unless I'm starving, then I go for two and then I'm too full and say I should have just stuck to one. LOL The lengua is the best I've ever tasted. It's so tender and delicious. It's a MUST try when you go. I've tried many different dishes and they were all fantastic. Also, the best customer service ever. Everyone is so friendly. You can't go wrong here. Try it, you'll like it.“

“Have you met Rachael?? She is the bartender who took care of me. She was on point! The California heat tacos were fantastic!! I had mine prepared with the tempura shrimp, with a nice shot of butt burning habanero sauce. The sides were black beans with the cilantro rice. The rice was the perfect texture to accent the cilantro flavor. I mixed the beans in cause I’m that guy!! All around 5 stars.“
“I tried the mangonada it’s my second time. The first time I tried it, it was really good 💯.The only thing I disliked is that the mango ice cream is not as it used to before, they must have changed their recipe, now the ice cream for the mangonada is like a yogurt type with small chunks of mango.
Overall, they have really good snacks!! The service is great, employees are always nice!“

“We came by for a quick lunch and they had just opened, there was only one server that had opened a little early. She was slammed for an unexpected lunch crowd and we were worried that it was going to take a long time. We could not be more wrong. Tansy was our server and she handled the crowd like a pro! She took on 6 tables all at once and never missed a beat! Great food and quick service!“
