We had the Hillbilly Queso with chorizo & tortilla chips and while the queso was delicious the chips weren’t anything to brag about except as to pick up enough queso to your mouth 👄. The Democrate Taco is one to try if you can’t decide; one party after me struggled to choose what to eat! The menu is wide and varied.“

“This place is amazingggg. I came here on my lunch break, really wanted some Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. I got a fajita burrito with asada, a side of sour cream (which they asked if I'd like in the burrito, yes please!) And some salsa verde which has a nice amount of heat to it ? all for under $11 including tax and tip. This is my new favorite spot in Foco ❤️

Parking: In the auto zone parking lot but plenty of space around it!

“We were in Fort Collins to visit an old friend of mine. Around lunchtime, we were in downtown Fort Collins and were fortunate enough to find parking on the street.

After a small tour, through some of the areas, we decided on Vatos Tacos for something to eat. I've attached two pictures. One of the tacos, and one of the sitting areas, just outside of the restaurant - it's in a center area for several shops and eateries.

Being from San Antonio, I will note I probably should have asked what kind of tacos were being sold. For me, there are tacos, and then there are street tacos. Vatos sells street tacos, in my opinion. Street tacos are smaller than regular tacos.

The tacos and hot salsa are good. There is no doubt about it.

Enjoy your visit. I know I will be back if I'm ever in Fort Collins again.

Parking: Parking is available for free on the street, but you have to be lucky. Also, it is for 2 hours.“

“I’m a local to FOCO for over 20+ years and I can tell you this place is a gem. The owner is the KINDEST and most ATTENTIVE person you’ll meet! The food was delicious and so FRESH. Also, the chips and salsa/bean dip are the best in town! We always do takeout from this place but we decided to dine in and the experience was wonderful! Please support this Family restaurant because it checks all the boxes and deserves so much recognition!“

“Best place to get Mexican food. They have a restaurant in Greeley that was so popular that they were able to open one up for us in Fort Collins. I'm so glad they did. They have a huge variety of food items to choose from. My favorite is the lengua tacos. They are big and filling. One is plenty for me unless I'm starving, then I go for two and then I'm too full and say I should have just stuck to one. LOL The lengua is the best I've ever tasted. It's so tender and delicious. It's a MUST try when you go. I've tried many different dishes and they were all fantastic. Also, the best customer service ever. Everyone is so friendly. You can't go wrong here. I had mine prepared with the tempura shrimp, with a nice shot of butt burning habanero sauce. The sides were black beans with the cilantro rice. The rice was the perfect texture to accent the cilantro flavor. I mixed the beans in cause I’m that guy!! All around 5 stars.“

“I joined a friend to watch a football game and the place was packed! The hostess was great about helping us find a good spot so we could enjoy the game. Our waitress was wonderful, she was so kind and responsive and the food was great! “The environment and the staff were not very inviting. We were excited to try out a new spot tonight and it went completely sideways. First we tried to mention it was our first time in and were not even acknowledged or helped until a second or third employee noticed us, we were the first to take our order but the last to be served food. The quality of the food was the same as Chipotle. The female bathroom was absolutely horrendous, definitely had not been cleaned anytime recently. I would say overall it was a one and done experience for me and I would advise not to spend your money or time here.“
