“Spur of the moment decision to try a new place and they didn't disappoint. Food was really good and the portion size was perfect for the occasion. They also took really good care of us, keeping drinks filled the entire time we were there.“

“Never had such amazing food before outside of my home town. Tacos pastor were truly incredible, my wife had the crispy fish taco and it was crunchy and tender. The different dips for chips each tasted fresh and intense with flavor, and those chips! Warm fresh to the table, crunchy but not crazy thick or thin. The casa margarita was smooth, not weak and not strong that you taste ever sip being overly alcoholic. Our waitress was the best ever, easily felt welcome and checked in and offered other amenities on site as part of the hotel (we were guests). And they had live music too! Easily one of the best dinners out with my wife. We both loved it and wish we came more during our trip.

“Mountain Home Cafe is my favorite for breakfast and lunch - always with great service - in Estes Park for many years. Fresh fruit and vegetables, and fresh hamburger, too, are served here. Biscuits and gravy is a crowd pleaser along with Alaska baked oatmeal, waffles, Swedish rollups, country fried steak, corn beef hash, and an assortment of breakfast combinations and skillet breakfasts. Not to mention Eggs Benedict :::: including California Benedict with avocado, and Mexican Benedict.“

Ordered a large smoothie (fruit) which says clearly is dairy free im hyper alergic.
Tries to give me dairy smoothie.
Gets mad and claims there isnt dairy...
Admits there is dairy still mad. I wss polite and kind. Remakes it to the wrong order and size ?‍♂️“

“The La Cabana Platter was FANTASTIC!! The carne asada was perfect, the chicken was perfect, and those shrimp were so delicious!! Next time I'll have to order some of just the shrimp to go!!.. We really enjoyed this meal. So yummy!! I had a frozen margarita and he had the regular margarita. No leftovers because we shared our meal. We did have to wait a little to be seated because three larger parties were seated before us but it was worth it. This is not a quick service restaurant, it's a place to sit and enjoy so if you want to get in and out super fast, this place is NOT for you. Take the time to sit and enjoy your company and the beautiful landscape around you.“
