I checked in advance with the Manager, who confirmed they would be serving a traditional Thanksgiving turkey-and-suffing special the week before the holiday. So I took my CSU son there to celebrate an early Thanksgiving. It was great. The food was excellent. Service friendly. Thanks - and Happy Thanksgiving!

Great service, great food, great atmosphere. We reserved a table for 6. It was ready early. One no show, the server was fine with that. Very accommodating and great service on a busy Saturday evening.

Was disappointed in my steak at Austin's on Saturday, November 15th. Had to cut away over a third of it because it was so fatty. Usually a NY Strip is around 1” but this one didn't even appear to be 1/2”.

Server let us order pricy cornbread skillet, and our meals arrived with cornbread on our plates!

Went for the tree lighting ceremony and Austin's had the perfect ambience! All of the windows show cased the beautiful lights of old town and the round table allowed for us to have great conversations! The food was perfect! 10 out of 10

We were both let down by our meal. Haven't been to Austin's in a bit but I know the quality. I wasn't even going to mention a review but you asked and I think Austin's should know the quality of the food is going down hill. First off, we made a reservation and they tried to sit us in a spot where we were in the 2nd room right next to another couple. Then ladies came in after us without a reservation and they were sat in th4 main room in a both by themselves. I asked to be moved and they moved us to the main room. We got 2 apps and 2 entrees. The fench onion soup had no broth and just onions. The brussel sprouts which we've had numerous times were terrible. They are usually one of my favs here. They were watering because of the apple slaw they put and there was 10 Brussels sprouts with mostly apple slaw that watered it down. It was bad. I got the ribs which are usually my favorite. They were dry. The only good thing was the fish fry and that's what my partner got. A great let down and disappointment in my most honest opinion. I was so disappointed I wasn't going to say anything and just get out of there. But becuaee you guys sent me an email, I think you should know.

Service was very good. The Brussels sprouts were excellent! A very good early meal that ends at 6PM which includes drinks. Overall an enjoyable dining experience.

This place is just a fancied up Applebees. Go in with that expectation and you'll be fine. The food is fine. Service was great. It's nothing special, but it's not bad.

I really used to enjoy Austin's. Recently, we ordered happy hour pineapple margaritas. I am convinced no one on staff has ever bothered to taste these. It's like drinking straight salt water after someone who recently ate some pineapple breathed on the glass. Gross is an understatement. The Brussels sprouts appetizer? A plate with THREE AND A HALF total sprouts. Our plate had seven halves total. I understand it's an appetizer but come on. And don't even get me started on our waitress' attitude. I would skip the Old Town location.

My wife and I and daughter ate their Thursday, October 16. Two things: 1:our soup came out lukewarm and we had it sent back and our waiter brought out nice hot soup. 2: the waiter charged us $7.95 for each bowl of soup when he told us if we get soup and an entrée it would be $4.95. My fault for not looking at the receipt in detail initially. That was misleading. Otherwise, our food and service was fantastic.

I've been eating at Austin's for many years, my first date with my husband was here actually. We love the rotisserie chicken and usually like the Cole slaw (although last time it was dry, hard & gross, so we haven't ordered it again). They've gotten rid of some of my other favorite dishes too. Today I took my daughter in for a nice lunch before a musical and for some shopping, we were dressed very nicely. We were seated promptly in a booth as I had requested in my reservation, however the hostess received a phone call mid seating and instead of waiting until we sat down to give us our menus etc, she answered right away. she chucked them on the table haphazardly and basically ran away and didn't even look at us , I said thanks (not sure why I thanked her) and she didn't even hear me or acknowledge me. Then we sat there for a good while and I mentioned to my daughter well I hope we at least have a server! A male waiter saw that we were sitting there when he was helping another table and came over to get us started and talked up “our amazing server Morgan” who was going to take over later. Well she never took over, he ended up having to be our server. He was tasked with working inside and outside tables and they were clearly VERY understaffed for a busy Sunday brunch/lunch. He did the best he could but we waited a long time for my check and we were on a time schedule. I do not blame him for that, I blame management and short staffing. As I recall the other time we were here in May we had very slow service as well. I was just thankful he cared enough to serve us because clearly Morgan wasn't as wonderful as he said because she never showed. So my reviews do not reflect poorly on him. It's the overall experience and management understaffing on a weekend. There was no time to refill my daughter's drink he was too busy, checked on us as he ran by once, the food was good but not amazing. I hate to say this but Austin's will likely not be my first choice anymore for lunch

We got the primo table at the railing, on the corner, on a sunny day! Savannah was our waitress and was helpful. We got the Bison Sloppy Joe special and the Chicken Tortilla soup to share. The special lunch entree was the Bison Sloppy Joe. We had not had bison before so we had a new experience! It was very tasty, with the sloppy joe spices taking center stage. Nice portion size along with a side of fries [fries were okay]. We would order it again but would like to try a burger so the flavor of the meat can be appreciated. The Chicken Tortilla Soup did not have much chicken or flavor. I do not like spicy foods but a little spice would have given it flavor. The soup was served in a large bowl that kept the soup warm through the meal. The tortilla strips were fresh & the crunch was appreciated. I would not order this again. We will eat here again when in Ft Collins since overall the experience was enjoyable.

Good and service were exceptional, as always. It's the reason we return to Austin's Old Town whenever celebrating meaningful family occasions. My only caveat is the price of prime rib dinner doesn't seem in line with other steak meals.

The service was great. The noise level outside was sometimes distracting. The food quality and service was the best.

I misread my online reservations and showed up two hours early. The hostess was very accommodating and made it work for our party of seven. Our food and server (Logan) were outstanding. Everyone in our party loved it.
