Fantastic place to get dinner! The bolognese is extremely authentic and reminded me of Italy. Thanks Nathaniel for the recommendation, I'll be back to try the carbonara you so adamantly suggested. Until next time!

Ordered to-go from the counter then waited 32 minutes for our food. When it came out the food was cold and the sandwiches were soggy. No one even made an effort to acknowledge the wait. Not sure if they are very new but still working on gaining their sea legs.

What a great spot. We had fun eating here. Their servers were fun to chat with and made great recommendations. I’ll usually get a burger as a staple entree to compare quality and I think this is hands down my favorite burger in town. My wife got a pasta dish. They make their own pasta and it was absolutely phenomenal. Well worth the money and if you’re able to sit on the patio you’re sure to have a great time. What a great addition to Old Town.

While we had great and attentive service, the chicken salad sandwich (specifically the chicken salad) was not good at all...I am a big chicken salad fan but this was the worst I've had and my husband agreed.

Actually the worst experience dining in Fort Collins I’ve had in years… started with a super rude waitress that gave us the wrong order and responded with “Well you paid for it.” The corgi parade was downtown while we were eating and we stood up momentarily to see some of the dogs walk by when another waiter chirped under his breathe as he walked by us “to go outside to watch the parade”. I responded by saying he should speak up if he has something to say and he got irritated and left the patio until we left the restaurant. Honestly, just not worth the headache. The wait staff seemed extremely upset that they were working on a weekend at a busy restaurant in the bustling downtown area and took it out on the customers. It’s unfortunate to see another restaurant go into this corner lot that isn’t worth peoples’ time.

Literally the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. It was a pretty busy day, but that is absolutely no excuse for how we were treated. We were not only extremely rudely spoken to by our waitress multiple times, we also had a MANAGER be beyond rude to us while we were there to the point we felt a need to say something to him. I was absolutely shocked. What’s worse is that you pay at the counter before seeing wait staff or receiving your food, so we tipped 20% BEFORE we were highly mistreated. I would have been so happy to leave nothing for that service. Absolutely will not be back- save your money and your time and eat somewhere with kind people and good (normally priced) food!

We went for brunch once and it was less than ideal, but they had just opened so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Tried to give it another shot for dinner… Sandwiches were over $20 dollars each and literally one had Kraft American cheese on it. It was gross and I was honestly shocked, sad to see “little” have such poor quality in this restaurant. For two small mediocre sandwiches and two happy hour margs it was $60 before tip. Nothing unique about the sandwiches either…So $72 with tip… and you pay at the counter where You order and carry your own water jug to the table. I don’t like giving bad reviews but it makes sense why this place is never busy. I miss the early days of next door.

Strange feel inside. No problem ordering at the counter after I sat at the bar already. Better direction and signage needed. Turkey club with greens very good deal very fresh.
Bread to thin for sandwich crumbled. Good portion. Greens were good. Picked through for bad lettuce. Very fresh. Lemon olive oil vinaigrette. Bar service was attentive but no cold glass and my second beer was in a can . No problem. But she didn’t open it for me or pour it. . Very arrange. I guess I could have put it in my pocket for that ToGo feel. Price was good. I’m not sure if it’s a staff training thing on the service or that’s really how they’re told to do it. I will come back. Just a little strange feeling inside at the bar. .

They missed one of the entrees I ordered, which happens, it's fine. I thought I had paid for it since I said it to the cashier and she nodded but apparently not. Mix ups happen. The issue wasn't the miscommunication or missed order, it was that another employee, Sarah, then came over to demean me and talk to me like I was an idiot instead of just apologizing for the mix up, putting the order in and adding it to our tab. I worked in the industry for a decade and I can't imagine speaking to a customer the way that she spoke to me. She came over again later to offer pastries, which would be nice except she continued to belittle me to the point that I asked her to leave me alone. Leah also helped us through the night and she was wonderful.

I haven't been in here since before it became the Avery. The sandwiches were good and it was a very lively place. Interesting service that wasn't bad but wasn't interested. You order at a counter and they bring you your food. We didn't see anybody after that until someone else came by to clear our plates. I forgot to take pictures, but everything was tasty!

I had a fantastic lunch at Avery Eatery in Old Town, where I ordered the Pappardelle, which was absolutely fabulous. The service was among the best I've experienced in the area, thanks to our server, Claire, who made our visit extra special.
