The food is good if you know what to order. My biggest complaint is how little the employees seem to care about washing their hands. Also, every time I go here (as long as it’s not busy) I stand there for a while waiting for someone to notice me because they are all standing around in the back not paying attention.
I get the bacon breakfast burrito. It's very tasty. I get it large so that I can eat more. I think people forget how good Pedro Martinez was. His 7 year stretch from 1997-2003 was better than peak Koufax. It was supernatural. His 2000 season was the greatest pitching season of all time. This place has my favorite breakfast burrito. They are fast, so nice and the employees seem genuinely happy to be there. The restaurant is always clean including the work surfaces in the visible kitchen area. 10/10 Cafe Mexicali is awesome!
